I played it at the best res and highest graphics, its an 8 year old game with BRILLIANT graphics and gameplay. Even my 4 year old nephew loved it. Awesome multiplayer.

I have the sequel to that game. It never comes up in searches, but it's called Robot Wars: Extreme Destruction.
This show was awesome when it was on BBC2, straight after a double bill of the fucking simpsons, fuck yes. I think it got replaced by the fresh prince of bel air, though that couldn't live up to robot wars, apart from the awesome theme.
I actually saw Sir Killalot in person once. He was opening the science museum here in Birmingham, it was awesome. According to my dad he ran out of fuel and he helped carry him back to their van.
