This looks like it has slight potential but it also looks like it could be a massive bomb. Seems like it'd be easier to ride if you just sat upright as normal, though, rather than lying down on your stomach and leaning back and forth.

From the video it looked awkward riding one, I don't think it will take off in America at least.
It's merely a prototype, it's slower for safety reasons, and isn't designed by a professional currently, it was built and designed by this kid. When it gets thrown at a professional designer he'll take into consideration how the driver actually looks on the thing, though you look like you're riding a shortened light cycle now- which is pretty badass. The price is pretty good for a small rechargeable vehicle that can probably take you across town easily, though most city goers opt for a bike.
