Just recently someone, not naming any names, but someone I was fixing a computer for (reinstalling Windows :v:) just had no fucking clue what "Internet Explorer" was. No clue! You check your emails on Yahoo, right? 'Yeah.' You visit Facebook daily, right? 'Yeah.' What do you use to do that? 'What?' Don't you use Internet Explorer to do that? 'Huh? What's that?' Show me how you visit Facebook. There. Right there. What you're clicking on. What does that icon say? 'Internet.' Did you really pass elementary school?
This is why I hate people.
Did nobody think to go to facebook.com? That website even has a facebook link to their page at the top of their site.
This is sad, like how dumb do people have to be? I actually know one person that does this. He'd go through like 10 steps to get to the front page of facebook.

We know that certain websites cannot be Facebook because they're not called "Facebook". We've got the whole concept of websites down to a tee because we're technology natives.
Older people generally aren't used to comupters. So they learn routines. In the same way that if someone gives you a set of instructions for a pillar drill you can copy the routine 500 times to make 500 (near)identical planks of wood, they've learned "search facebook login --> type username and password into box --> click button" to get Facebook. However the internet changes, and their routines do not.

FACEBOOK
OMG guys breaking news, utoob maispayse and faysbuk are taking over the internet, and everyone who owns a compyootur uses it to look up information ABOUT those sites. =o
They forget 90% FB/YB/MS users think googling the word and clicking the link is the fastest way to get in.
