Remember remember, the fifth of November, the gunpowder treason and plot.
I see no reason for the gunpowder treason to ever be forgot.
I memorized it when I watched the movie ;__;

Fixed :eng101:
Again.
My grandma is visiting tomorrow! =]
I think I will watch V for Vendetta to see what this is all about.
Holy crap i almost forgot!
I opened a thread about that already. Search before you make a thread.
The gunpowder plot is real, and I knew about it before V for Vendetta came out anyway.
I don't particularly care about the 4th of July, but I respect that it's important to people of that country.
It's not the same as the 4-th of July. Not that I care about the 4-th of July either.

I know of no reason why the gunpowder treason should ever be forgot :science:
Fun fact of the day: It's my birthday tomorrow :buddy:
It is the 5th of November here.
I can't help but point out what tomorrow is, and that's the 6th of November.
This might hold significance to people, and some dont know what so special about today,
well the basic rundown is Faren tried to push his way out of his mother to get born under the
direction of his motherfucking genes(did I spell that right)

So what is Facepunch gona do tomorrow :D
(But really, tomorrow is my birthday.)
V: Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin van-guarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition.
[carves V into poster on wall]
V: The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous.
[giggles]
V: Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V.

There are 49 V words. If you count the V that he carves into a wall at 0:58, which isn't shown in this video, that makes 50. And the Roman Numeral for 5 is V. :P
The best introduction I've ever heard :P
I forget, whats tomorrow?
I cant seem to remember....

Only if you had Hugo Weaving's accent :P
Fuck watching V for Vendetta, try reading the graphic novel, it's much better.
Also I guarantee 90% of the people who use the "remember remember" quote wouldn't even know about Guy Fawkes had the movie not come out, and if they did they probably wouldn't care.

Not until you record yourself and post it here.

Pretty soon I'll be getting both "V for Vendetta" and "Watchmen" comic books... everybody keeps tellin' me V for Vendetta could have been SO much better...
And even though I agree with what you're saying, imagine how the world would be if everyone in it were a comic books buff...
I call it no sleep day.

Being a proper Englishman and that I say 'I See no reason' not and 'I know of no reason'. And in any-case it sounds far better :p.

It really, really could have. There wasn't a single character from that book who didn't get utterly shafted, including V himself. He doesn't cry, he doesn't put on a pink apron and cook Evey breakfast, and he never really refers to himself as a man.
Watchmen at least got most of the story bits right, even if they did change the ending massively.
And even though I agree with what you're saying, imagine how the world would be if everyone in it were a comic books buff...
We probably would see film adaptations of comic books that were much better.

I sure did. Very easy, considering I am an Australian. (Although I think Hugo Weaving was actually born in Nigeria :aaaaa:)
