Is there a railstation that's pretty much there? I've looked on google maps and it says there's one outside the racecourse near enough.
There is a station literally at the racecourse.
Damn i wish there was one in Ireland :saddowns:
It'd be worth the travel.
I'd quite like to bring my iMac and not have it smashed though... :v:
play photoshop at lan also might be going with CoD4/BLOPS clan, if not i'll definitely be going to i43
play photoshop at lan
Are you high? It's all about iCal this year! [editline]11th December 2010[/editline] I heard they are having tournaments.
Are you high? It's all about iCal this year!
Fuck your shit, iCal was 2009's action Everyone knows it's Darwin's TCP stack this year Also, anyone coming from the great south (Portsmouth <-> Weymouth <-> Newbury) area that needs accomodation / someone to go with? I'm taking my motorhome with two ultra-comfy beds in, so if you'd like one let me know. The accommodation offer goes for anyone else in dire need though, but priority will be given to southerners.
You literally get off the train and you're there.
Hmm that and the Starcraft 2 tournament is sounding rather worthwhile though 5 hours on a train and 3 changes puts me off somewhat.
Got my ticket a few weeks ago, will be attending with wilsonwiz! see you guys there!
Do we know when the seat planner is due out yet?
No, not for a while yet though. Probably Feb.
Ooh I've just found coach tickets for what's pretty much half the price of train tickets.
So are we gonna get a hotel room
I think that's a resounding "no" hez Also the motorhome's still got its shiny vacancy
I'm camping if I'm going.
I'll be sleeping in my car... At i40 after my tent leaked i just folded it up and shoved it under my car until I left. :v:
I'm fucking going home every night if i go :smug:
I'm fucking going home every night if i go :smug:
Envy. Huge envy.
I'm starting a job in January so I may be able to come after all!
Hey if someone will buy me plane tickets I will come also can I share someones hotel room?????
Hez I might be up for booking a hotel actually, how much was it again?
Let me go get a revised price as there may be more or less availability than last time [editline]17th December 2010[/editline] Newbury Tot Hill 3.6 miles away from RG14 7NZ from £35.75 per room per night Newbury Chieveley M4 3.8 miles away from RG14 7NZ from £32.50 per room per night Reading M4 Westbound 11.7 miles away from RG14 7NZ from £23.50 per room per night Reading M4 Eastbound 11.8 miles away from RG14 7NZ from £23.50 per room per night We can get a family room between 3 people, so it works out like £12 a night each in the nearest Travel Lodge. Only disadvantage is that it's a double bed and a sofa bed (no homo) For the whole weekend; Newbury Chieveley M4 is £130 / 3 = £43.30 each. For two people, £65 Newbury Tot Hill is £143 / 3 = £47.60 each. For two people, £71
I bet it smells of chips, pizza and sweat in there.
No, its smells of pure dreams
If we did the family room we'd take turns in the double bed I guess
I will be paying for my ticket shortly. I'm going to see if i can get a couple of mates to come along too.
The newbury Chequers is within walking distance (about 5 quid for a taxi) and it is really nice, paid £165 for 4 night 2 person room, got a free upgrade to the biggest room I've ever seen in a hotel, had a kingsize double bed, double sofa bed, a seperate room with a single and pull out bed and a travel bed, managed to sleep 8 of us with room for about 4 more on the floor.
Chequers is £55 a night so not likely going to stay there! We need more people to book so we can get a clan box!
