Why didn't they just move out by the time pregnant women started drilling holes in people and humans turned into snails?! The place didn't close up until after that, right?

So, they technically could keep getting out till the curse ran out.
Someone please post "The Holes".
Omg I read that on /b/.... IT FREAKED THE FUCK OUT OF ME. Luckily I can't find it anymore.
Spoiler ___________________________________ How the hell did he manage to do this.
Gyo is some crazy fucking shit.
dude chapter 10 oh god oh god
what the fuck is this
ahahaha [editline]01:08AM[/editline] that last panel is amazing [editline]01:12AM[/editline] each of these chapters has a really unsatisfying ending they're just like "yep I escaped cool"
that last panel is amazing
Any self-respecting normal person would go out on a knifing spree on those things. And how the fuck the doctors got addicted? "Mister doctor, can you please eat this?" "Of course, little talking man, feeding me his skin."
space lizard in the first panel? semi spoilers I guess
I think the series was really awesome until the fourth chapter. It all went down after that...
i just read it all in one sitting, pretty awesome, but i recommend Parasite hella more.
WOW that ending was lame as fuck
So i just finished it. Reaction: Holy balls
Haven't you been reading? They can't leave the town. Every time they try they just get looped back to the town.
Didn't you read the second half of my post? Apparently people were able to leave before the curse got bad, because there was a mention of people from the town creating spiral clouds when cremated elsewhere. So they could have earlier.
They were still being cremated inside the town.
Talking to a facepuncher means including important information in the first few words of a sentence, I see. It was explicitly stated that people from the town who were cremated outside the town still created spiral smoke, implying that they were no longer in the town.
I remember this. This is a great read.
Apparently people were able to leave before the curse got bad
I wonder what was the point of no return. Read it so long ago, so I remember the events but not the order in which they happen.
I wonder what was the point of no return. Read it so long ago, so I remember the events but not the order in which they happen.
when the storms started showing up and only the old houses didn't get destroyed. leaving was fine and dandy before that. But apparently being attacked by hair and almost burned alive by a lighthouse is not enough reason to move. Nope, MY CHILDHOOD IS HERE [editline]01:10PM[/editline] It's also been about a year for me since I've read this.
We've seen that all the strange phenomenon can cause madness and obsession in the townspeople, perhaps part of the curse is that the others feel drawn to the town?
It wouldn't surprise me, after all, they did repeat throughout the manga that a spiral draws people to it's center. So anyone who has seen the town would be inclined to get nearer it. Also holy shit is Parasyte long. Good though.
I still do wonder, what happened to the corpse cleaner? did he also spiral up in the end or did he get a free-off ticket?
This thread introduced me to Parasyte. At first I didn't really like it, but I started getting into it after the first few chapters. I found it enjoyable. Also, I love the 'Tomie' series. There are movies of that as well, though I haven't seen them.
Hey what are you doing with those dri- OH SWEET FUCKING JESUS I was really disappointed with the ending
I hear the Tomie movies are trash.
So... what happened at the end? I read the Lost Chapter Galaxies thing, did everything turn back to normal? Is everyone back? Please explain.
Yeah I just finished it. Total fucking let down. Hope the next one will be better. [editline]06:18PM[/editline] Ah, but I believe this one is better. I read it some months ago around the time I finished Uzumaki and Gyo. Another by Ito Junji, Falling. http://www.mangafox.com/manga/falling/v01/c001/ "20 people from the same town have mysteriously disappeared. Where did they go and why?"
200 people. I think.
So... what happened at the end? I read the Lost Chapter Galaxies thing, did everything turn back to normal? Is everyone back? Please explain.
The cycle of the town repeats itself. A new group of people will settle where the old town was, and eventually they will be consumed by the spiral as well.
