I got a Logitech G930 headset as my birthday present in October, lurve it for some gaming. I can go upstairs to my kitchen, a good 100+ ft away and still hear everything crystal clear.
7.1 digital surround sound is pretty cool, I use stereo mode for music though.
My only gripe is that I can't figure out a way to have both them and my speakers working at the same time.
It is also great for running to the toilet and still being able to hear the lesbians scissoring.
What type of wireless connection is it? Bluetooth?
AKG K-240 for ever, man.

I... I like them, nice and cheap. :unsmith:

[release]If there is one cable I would whole-heartedly trust to my Chimera-hunting needs, this would be the cable. No other cable has the tensile strength to properly and efficiently garrote a lycanthrope, asphyxiate an Esquilax or even gag a mermaid. Last week, using my trusty AudioQuest K2 (retrofitted with lead weights, bright orange latex paint and a generous coating of crushed glass stolen from the window of an abandoned church at midnight), I managed to snuff 3 golden unicorns in swift succession!
Pros: Quickly tears through scales, fur, bone, and adamantium with ease
Coils and uncoils from hip holster (optional) quickly and quietly
For a product fabricated from 1,000 Onyx Dragon fetuses, the price is unbelievably reasonable!
Cons: Shipping from the R'lyeh took far too long
Doesn't come in 10' lengths (which would be perfect for hydra, cerberii and other multi-headed creatures)
After every use, I can feel 6 ounces of my soul slipping from my core into the ether. But this may be due to the fact that I prefer to work without gloves. YMMV.
Overall, I would recommend that any hunter buy one, nay, two, of these immediately, and experience the difference that upgrading to the K2 will make in your next quest!

Yeah, I bght thos cabls and am usin it on m computer.
These miniscule differences in sound are unnoticable to most, but as a music-producer i'm reliant on absolute presiscion and accurate soundscapes.
I used to design record covers for someone who bought this shit. I kept my mouth closed for fear of losing my pay check.
As an audio engineer, I used to build emergency relay alarm audio for fighter pilots, I used this shit when testing the system.
Elaborate please? That's pretty interesting.
as the inventor of sound I need some pretty dope gear for my shit nahmean

Holy shit, it looks like it was designed for the NES. The color scheme is perfect.
If only because that exists, somebody needs to make an 8-bit port of Counter Strike.

These minuscule differences in sound can't be picked up by humans nor scientifically quantified, but as a music producer I'm reliant on $6,000 power cords to make me beats hella chunkity.
Never said i bought stupid shit like this, but proper gear is important. :)
when it comes to music i try to get .flacs or 320 kbps because they both make a huge difference compared to shitty 128 kbps that you get from some crappy source
though i've found .flacs aren't that much different from 320 kbps, though. i guess it depends on the mix
I can't tell the difference between 320kbps MP3 and .flac, but I rip all of my CDs in .flac for archival purposes. I have a compressed 1:1 copy of everything in case my disks get lost or damaged.

There's a HUGE difference between precision and accuracy in sound and spending $1k on a cable. The latter being retarded.

I've used those for a while. They were given to me as a Christmas gift right after they came out. I do like them, but because I have cats that love to knock shit around, the cable is coming out of the headphones slowly. I've never been one to pay any attention to audio quality. As long as it sounds alright, I don't really care. I'm not a music producer or sound artist or musician or any of that. I don't have a need for ultra-fine tuned equipment, just something that works.

2.4 GHz through a USB plugin.
Skullcandy is about hype and being cool, kinda like apple
Way to generalize.
There is a huge difference between idiots who buy overpriced shit and audiophiles.
Earbuds and earphones almost never fit my oddly shaped ears.

There are custom molded options available but they start from $400 AFAIK :3: Haven't really looked into it but it's an option, although a ridiculously priced option. People actually buy that stuff. Why, that's completely beyond me.

Here's a cheap solution. I've been meaning to try it with an old pair of canal headphones.

I'm soo going to try that, shouldn't be too bad on universal fit plugs since they're designed to work in a plethora of different ear canals and the such anyway. Funny how it didn't even occur to me think that could be done :3:

These are really great products. Made my audio so much clearer and lossless. My only gripe is that occasionaly they get up in the middle of the night and perform dark rituals to Shub-Niggurath, The Black Goat of the Forest with a Thousand Young.

I work with audio too and this is a ripoff. Really all you need is a good (note the word good and not exceptional) amp, preamp, DAW software, interface, some high end mics, and a pair of headphones with a flat response. Cables and connectors don't matter one bit, just get the cheapest one.

True, i only meant that audiophiles aren't idiots.
I'm a poor artist, i can't afford any of the snakeoil products seen here. I just wanted to let people know that audio quality matters.

well the amp, preamp, and interface can be provided in a single package for like 300 bucks.
adobe after effects is over 900 dollars and people still buy that shit
I found a set of HD 590's (sennheiser) For about £20. Really good considering that they cost over 100 new. They are the best sound that i have ever heard through my ears, way better than my dads £700 quid sound system. He is a little jealous.
