It depends. I talk a big talk stoned, definitely with a boosted ego - but when it comes to actually doing things I am a lot less confident. I tend to do a lot of thinking aloud and my friends tell me to write it down because it is so deep and meaningful but I know it is just because they are high.

I realize that while I'm getting high, I can feel it happening and often times attempt to fight it. I get anxious, but I end up relaxing eventually.

Same here, last night we had a conversation going on for hours about unusual pets you could have. I went on for ages about how awesome wolves are, and how cool it would be to have them as pets, except they wouldn't be aggresive, they would be cuter and sometimes smaller. Then someone said dogs and my mind was blown.
I can relate to what a lot of people here have said though, I'm more social, can understand how people might be feeling on a deeper level etc.
Last time I was high it was ALL about the music. Me being a metalhead I disapprove of rap generally and there was a rapper at this party who wanted to share his stuff with me. Being the nice guy no matter the situation I decided that I would show him some good ol wake and bake dubstep.
He asked if there would come any rapping in it. I said there wasn't and he should make his own lyrics over it. He let them rip.
So apparently I'm the guy that handles the music when I'm high.

This. When baked I seem to have the uncanny ability to feel the mood of everyone in the room and play music that fits with it. Usually I get it near spot on apparently.

When I used to have my job still, I had a friend come to get weed from another friend (because I was out) when my friend got there, they went to sell it to him, and as soon as they went out, they came right back in so I'm like wtf? I know its hard for some people but you just gotta switch off to it, once in a while i might smoke dirty dirty hydroponic after stopping for a few days or weeks, i usually do it on my own so i can have a bit of a mind bend but somtimes if you start thinking way too much and it starts getting negative thats when you have to switch off and distract yourself with tv or computer games.
I usually just say "Don't worry about it, i am stoned" and when i start thinking again i just cut myself off at the negatives and start thinking positive, its helped me alot, infact its made me a better person.
dam, all this talk about being high makes me want to be high so much. I might go get some more tomorrow :D
