They chose it every day by eating fatty foods and exercising enough
They chose it every day by eating fatty foods and exercising enough
Well, they may not have, influence during childhood and adolescence is a strong thing. It's why religion still exists today. If dad/mom gives shit food to child, child likes shit food/gets fat/hard to quit eating shit food. Passes it on to children and they get fat.
However liking fatty food is an evolutionary adaptation, one that is being slowly reversed.
For example:
Ancient human/ancestor of human is constantly trying to survive
Needs fatty high energy meal to stay alive
Taste buds evolve to like like fattier, more Caloric food instead of less energy foods.
Survives
Reproduces
Fatty food preference reaches the modern human.
Modern human has little to no physically strenuous activity compared to ancient humans
Needs regular balanced meal to stay alive/healthy
Taste buds still evolved to like fatty food (this is why things with saturated fats are GOOD)
Human gets obese
Dies
Does not reproduce
Slow de-evolution of our preference for fatty food.

They may not have conciously chose to be fat if they we're raised poorly but weight is something that you can get rid of (If your body allows it.) There isn't a "Privilege" that is had by being thin only opportunities that cater to thinner people. If you have a problem with being fat and not being able to have as many options as thin people then maybe you should lose some weight and earn those "Privileges."
Damn straight I'm gonna flaunt my thin privilege oh yeahhhh
In all honesty though the idea/concept of "thin privilege" is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of.
Becoming rich is a lot harder than losing weight.
Bullshit. I don't think you realize how hard it is to lose weight for some people. It's not as simple as "EAT VEGETABLES AND WORK OUT FATASS". You have to change your whole life style for several months just to get in shape. I eat a lot and don't do much physical activity. Genetics also play a part. Am I to blame for my weight? Of course. But is it totally my fault? No, I was raised this way. I'm not saying it's easy to get rich, but for some people, I'd say it's a lot easier than losing weight.

You can dance around it all you want but it's you who has to take the initiative with it.
And yes, it is hard at first but it doesn't take too long for you develop healthy eating and exercise to a routine.
I'd say there's probably more "traditionally attractive" privilege - but it's almost ingrained into human nature, in that you will generally be nicer and think higher of someone who is physically attractive (male or female.) Obviously, we shouldn't judge so immediately based on people's appearance, but we do.
You were raised that way, but instead you know you're fat, know avenues to get out of being fat, but still insist that it's not your fault?
Read my post or don't try to comment. I said it was partially my fault. But I'm not completely responsible for it.

Are you implying that getting rich takes only several months
I think that morally, it is fucked up to make fun of fat people and if you do you are no better than a racists or a sexist. but legally there really doesnt need to be any sort of legislation FEDERALLY, small towns/cities can do whatever they want when it comes to ordinances.
Are you implying that getting rich takes only several months
Depends on your definition of rich.
Depends on your definition of rich.
millionaire is considered rich to me
millionaire is considered rich to me
Then yes, a smart business person could easily get a few million within several months depending on the conditions. It's not difficult for some people to make money, just as it's not difficult for some people to lose weight. It's difficult for some people to make money, just as it IS difficult for some people to lose weight.
Lol thin privilege
It's an excuse to not lose some weight and insulting to people who are not as privileged at the same time
There is no such thing as "thin privilege". That would imply it is never earned but rather hereditary, like white privilege and etc. The thing is, all the fatties has to blame only themselves for their current state. I always laugh when hamplanets says "it's genetics" or "healthy food too expensive" or "it's my body type" or "my metabolism hates me ;_;". I say to these phrases this
1. Genetics plays little to no role in this
2. If you would only eat lean meat, vegetables, fruits and other raw food, it would cost LESS than all that shitty processed food.
3. There is no clear evidence for body types existence ( implying it is talking about ectomorphs, mesomorphs and endomorphs)
4. Metabolism hates you cause you have shitty nutrition macros, eat too much calories and you don't work out. Start eating raw food, eat 300-500 kcal less than your bmr, learn about nutrition and work out. Goddamn just do it. You'll see difference in a month.
This "thin privilege " thing is started by fat acceptance groups, which is utter shit, cause not only you get negative attention to fatties, but you indirectly fatten other people "hurr durr it's okay to be fat it's completely natural"
Other kind of fatties that says this is idiot ones who knows nothing about nutrition. Many times i heard in gym hamplanets saying "I eat healthy food, i work out, but the weight just won't drop, I should quit it" . When i ask what they eat, i hear such utter retarded answers like "a porridge for a dinner before sleep" . And when i explain what they do wrong, they won't listen.
Tl;dr Fatties gonna fat, "thin privilege" is non-existant bullshit.

You have to change your lifestyle for LIFE. Why do you think being healthy is called "lifestyle"? Also "Am I to blame for my weight? Of course. But is it totally my fault? No, I was raised this way." is such utter retarded phrase, that it makes me vomit. Yes, it is totally your fault. "I was raised this way". So what? If you are , let's say underage, you do know that you can decline unhealthy food? Don't buy snickers as a snack, but an apple? You know that you can eat relatively a lot and don't get fat (See : Fruits, vegetables, lean meat, tuna). Also, even going for a jog every evening for an 30 min will help you lose fat. You sound like one of those fatasses that thinks world is against them and there's nothing they can do about it.
Seeing as half of facepunch is fat basement nerd, i should do guide about losing weight in witness the fitness. I think i will do that.

There you go. You just made it sound completely easy when it isn't. As said before, it's not as simple as "EAT VEGETABLES AND WORK OUT FATASS", but apparently you're one of those arrogant skinny fucks that think they're better than fat people.

I want you to do a little experiment. I want you to not eat anything, and not drink anything except for water for 48 hours. Make note of how you feel, and imagine feeling like that all the time, because that's what happens to fat people when they switch to a diet of less food. It is like that constantly, and it never goes away. Ever. Simple? Yes. Easy? Ha ha, ha ha. No.

Except for the fact that it does go away after your body loses all the excess fat

There is literally not a single physical or chemical reason why you would feel like you're starving after your body gets used to its new shape and fat levels
at all

Unless someone would just happen to be genetically or psychologically conditioned to be predisposed to a certain intake of food, then yes, you would be right. A lot of people hide behind those reasons as a way to shift responsibility from themselves, but to say that genetic predisposition and psychological conditioning are absolutely not factors at all is just being ignorant at this point.

They're factors, but I don't see how they would affect you after your body changes and you start eating correctly.
Those things make it so you do things that make you pack on the pounds faster, but I don't see how they could possibly change the fundamental way that the human body processes body fat.

So don't switch straight away. Ease into it gradually.

My point was, if someone's hunger is influenced by genetic predisposition or some form of placebo, it won't matter how adequately nourished they actually are, they would still feel hungry, because their hunger isn't being influenced by the fundamental way that the human body processes fat. Sorry, I should have worded it more clearly earlier.
arrogant skinny fucks
I lolled. I was a fat faggot 15 fucking years, and 2 years i started working out. You will feel like shit 2 weeks max. Find the sport you like and go hardcore. I on mountain biking 6 hours/day and eating bellow my bmr have lost over 10 kg IN A FUCKING MONTH. I became normal in 2 or 3 months. So yea, now i work out and build muscle, so i would say yes, I am better than fat people. All of you fatties has absolutely no willpower. All you need to lose weight is eating healthy nutritionous food, and working out at least 3 days a week. That's all. Enjoy being kissless basement dwelling fatass. But if you want to lose weight, read this http://4chanfit.wikia.com/wiki/Harsh%27s_Worksheet_(WIP)
[sp]Yes, it's 4chan, but who gives a fuck, /fit/ gives best advice and is made almost entirely of Bodybuilders/ Athletes/ Trainers. [/sp]
And, if you would have more questions, pm me.

Lol
Everything fatties needs to do is eat healthy, 200-300 colories on bmr, and work out. That's all.
, and it never goes away.
When were you out of retard school? All it takes week - 2 weeks for body to adapt and feel normal. All fatties need is some willpower.
They are literally evolutionary mistakes.
They become fat = Ugly as fuck
Then there will be 3 outcomes
1. It will become kissless virgin and stays like it all life
2. It will find ugly partner and so they will have ugly children and so they will make shittier gene pool.
3. They change to normal/fit and find normal partner.
So yea, my guess is, fat people should extinct sooner or later.
Yea, fatties gonna fat

Fuck no, there is no source telling genetics have strong impact for weight, and some sources state it effects weight gain 1-2 % max. All the person needs to get fit is willpower, good nutritious diet and physical activity. That's all.
