Maybe Celestia told Luna that the Gala is always boring, so Luna wouldn't have to suffer through it?
I think I'd be starved for social interaction after 1000 years. :v:

Send Luna to Ponyville to make friends.
Send Luna to Ponyville to make friends.
"Oh hey. Aren't you the pony who tried to murder us and send the world in to eternal darkness?"
I can see that going swimmingly. :v:
People don't even really need to be aware of the reason they like something to like it, it could be subconscious. I like it because the ponies are cute and well characterized, so it's really enjoyable watching them interact and deal with problems.
But not knowing if you have a mental disorder seems to be quite a bad thing, so my suggestion still stands, go see a doctor who is specialized in the field of mental disorders to get yourself checked out so we can put this to rest once and for all.
Yes mental disablities can be quite hard to notice at first glance but i assure you knowing someone who has mental disabilites will be clear rather quickly.
Give me an example of good story, characters and thought out plot, while the animations can be pleasing and smooth i ask you, are there any shows on the telly nowdays which have ugly and sloppy animations?
Also i never stated about it being manly to "GUNS FUCK YEAH KILLING LETS PLAY CALL OF DUTY ALL THOSE EXPLOSIONS JUST GET ME OFF FUCK YES MURDER AND TITS AW YEAH DAT ASS." that seems to be a fictional image of my statements created by other "my little pony fans", there are no clear bound rules for what is considered proper for a gentleman to watch on tv or enjoy but enjoying something clearly created for young children is something that is not normal.
The culture has set the norms for men and women but considering "my little pony" to be something enjoyed by women of all ages is severly wrong, while the creator of this show is a 37 year old woman it does not mean she actually enjoys watching it nor that other women enjoy watching it.
Now that you said about feminime hormones giving men small urges to do feminime things could you please link me a scietfic study about it that proves it
How about, first, you send me a link to a scientific study proving that everyone outside the general targeted audience of a television show has a mental problem, and then we'll talk.

You go to any medical professional, and tell him "Hey doc I live a perfectly normal life except sometimes I like to watch a cartoon about ponies when I get home from work because it makes me smile", what do you think his response is going to be?

Hey stop it

I don't really care if he is trolling, this is actually kinda interesting.
"Oh hey. Aren't you the pony who tried to murder us and send the world in to eternal darkness?"

They all seemed happy when they were partying about her return.

"omg your a faggot go kill yourself"
They all seemed happy when they were partying about her return.
You don't question the judgment of the pony who makes the sun rise every day and lords of the world. :v:
Hey, weren't you supposed to stop responding?
I'm afraid your pleas are in vain.

I never talked about general targeted audience, is it not common knowledge that ponies are meant for little girls?
Do you perhaps feel the need of riding a pony but being, how old were you again?
I do believe it is common knowledge for grown men to understand the line between what is meant for little girls and what is not without the use of general targeted audience as an excuse.
Also i never set in stone that grown up fans of my little pony have mental problems but suggested it, but you seem to have set it in stone yourself that they dont so could you back it off with some credible materials?
So, continuing with productive discussion;
If Luna does indeed appear in Season 2, what do you think her place would be, considering Celestia controls both sun and moon now?
I was pondering this as well. I think the luna episode may be 2 episodes, in where it focuses mainly on celestia and luna, rebuilding their trust as sisters. Celestia then tests luna and eventually gives control of the moon back to luna.
I dunno, wishful thinking :3:
I would also like to see more mythical creatures and such. It really adds depth to the world to see the things that creep and crawl outside of established society.
Holy crap.
We watch the show because we enjoy it.
You don't watch the show because you don't enjoy it.
Now why can't we all get along?
I would also like to see more mythical creatures and such. It really adds depth to the world to see the things that creep and crawl outside of established society.
I also need things to add to my army in my fan fiction.
I'm still expecting a Trixie or Gilda return, either as a revenge episode or a "I'm sorry, please forgive me" episode.
Also predicting an episode where 1 of the CMC gets a cutie mark and gets outcast by the other 2, or 2 of them get it and the third feels left out.
That is rather sarcastic.
I do suggest you give me a compelling arguement because there is no reason for a grown man to like a show that clearly isnt made for his age.
Maybe watching a few episodes when feeling childish but becomign a obdurate fan of this show is rather weird and interesting topic id like to know more about.

If there really were no reason for grown men to like it, then there's no way that any grown men would like it. No one likes anything without a reason.

If you were to see any one of us on the street, you wouldn't be able to tell that we watched ponies. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it, or us. The show has mature humor, enjoyable characters, thought-out (though not necessarily over-arcing) stories and episodes, and the animations are pleasing and smooth. Its a shame that everything that men have to enjoy is boiled down to "HHNNNGGGHH GUNS FUCK YEAH KILLING LETS PLAY CALL OF DUTY ALL THOSE EXPLOSIONS JUST GET ME OFF FUCK YES MURDER AND TITS AW YEAH DAT ASS."
Explain how when a straight female enjoys manly things, there is nothing wrong, but if a straight male enjoys feminine things (not necessarily makeup or dresses, but something like this show) he is immediately labeled homosexual. Watching ponies does not make tits any less appealing, nor does it make other men's dicks any more enticing. You don't see quality cartoons like this anymore, with actual care put into the episodes and a good art style (though I don't mean to imply that every show sucks and has bad art).
Men have small percentages of feminine hormones, same as females have men hormones, like testosterone. These hormones can give small urges to do feminine things, like watch ponies. Though it isn't generally accepted in this day and age because of the mindset of the general public. There is nothing wrong with satiating a natural urge for feminine things with an overall enjoyable cartoon. If you don't like the show, why bother berating us for not agreeing with you when we clearly don't care?

Well then could the reason be presented to me?
Why do you happen to like it SamPerson123?
Also ignoring me shows incompotence and mental level of zero percent by the fans of this show.
So meaning you people who arent little children and watch this show have mental problems of some sort or infact can be considerd children and quite possibly are under the age of 13 which happens to be the accepted norm for individuals to register at internet sites.
But i do need the reason of why you enjoy it while clearly not being the appropriate age that this show has been created for.

then why are you posting in this chat thread, is it not created to discuss about the show?

I don't see the Great and Powerful Trixie apologizing to anyone. She'll probably come back with stories about defeating a dragon or some shit. :v:
But i do need the reason of why you enjoy it while clearly not being the appropriate age that this show has been created for.
No. It's not like you will die if you are not given a sufficient reason. There is no definition of the word "need" that is satisfied by your current situation.

I also watch Pee Wee's playhouse reruns, Spongebob, Adventure Time, and sometimes Blue Clues.
also: Only greasers can drive cars, apparently.

Season 2 chat/speculation and friendship time?

Nope, not yet.

That also makes you wonder what qualifies a species to be sentient. I mean, dragons seem smart enough to reason with, though primarily violent. Griffins are their own separate species, and it makes you wonder if they have their own society or are integrated into the pony society. And it also makes you wonder what other species have their own kingdoms or whatever, and what is qualified as a wild animal.
