God I love Ninite, I hate having to charge people though, I like it much better when they know my rate and just pay for however long I was there. Like so far I've worked for 2 hours for just the setup part of this womans computer (I built the computer a while ago, it got a virus and I ended up just formatting and reinstalling windows, but backing up her shit took forever) and now I need to go there with the disk I just burned from Ninite and her photoshop\MSoffice disks and install her anti virus, media players, etc. which I'm guessing will take probably another 2 hours. I charge $20\hour, so for the two days I've been working on this I should get $80.
But when she asks me I'm gonna take into account that A) she's a family friend, B) half the time I was there, I wasn't really doing anything because I need to wait for the computer to do it's thing, and C) this could have been much cheaper and faster for her had I just decided to format and reinstall to begin with, but first I decided to try to just clean out the computer and not have to deal with reinstalling everything, so in my mind I made an additional $60 off of her by trying something less drastic.
