Yup. He was probably 2-3 in that photo. I got him when he was only a few weeks old. He was going to be 9 this July.

Really can't believe that happened..he was such a wonderful dog.

i feel ya benji, my dog has been having a lot of medical issues lately such as diabetes, glaucoma, and kidney failure and i really dont wont to have to put him down because to be honest hes my best friend, the only friend i can trust and i love him to death. i feel you hard benji and just know that its better to end the pain now than t o suffer through it, because in a month or two i have to make that decision of life or death and i cant do that to my little pup, tears me up inside but you know you cant put him through that shit. much <3 benji, much <3 indeed

Bought him. He's a German Shorthair Pointer. Went bird hunting with him and my Dad for years when I was younger.
I know 9 isn't a bad age for a dog, but it's just really hitting hard because of how healthy and energetic he was.

That is hard. It came early and as a surprise. Poor pup. But he was happy, and he obviously is remembered :) I like to think we live on in memories, as corny as that sounds. And he's surely alive in this thread :D
