Late Registration, his debut and that album. Those will tell you he is a worthy artist.
His best album in my opinion is Graduation. He is certainly a worthy artist either way

It sounds a lot like Helloween thanks to Kai - it's Timo Tolkki syndrome in its purest form (other than Tolkki himself). Recommended listening for any melodic speed metal fan
I still think Sigh No More is their best album :smug:

Gamma Ray - Sigh No More - 1991 B+ My personal favourite of Gamma Rays, but I still don't think it is their best (effort wise). Heavily underrated and springs more into Gamma Ray and away from Helloween which is something good and original. The style is supposed to be power metal, but I hate to label it. It's pretty unique heavy metal. After listening to the album for a while it starts to repeat itself and you'll find Dream Healer and The Spirit pretty boring. Father and Son still remains one of my favourite songs of all time however. I'd give it an A- but it just doesn't seem like an A effort (A to me stands for Acclaimed)

Manchester Orchestra - Mean Everything To Nothing This album starts amazing, strong first 4 songs that flow incredibly well, and continues well until after it slows down on track 7 and 8 with 100 Dollars, and I Can Feel A Hot One, another two great songs. After that, the songs start to lose their magic a bit, not having as much hit as the prior parts of the album. It picks up again with the final track The River and the great secret track, Jimmy He Whispers. Definately worth a listen 8/10
Pain of Salvation - Scarsick 4/10 Thanks to the irredeemable awfulness of BE, this isn't their worst album, but it's definitely trying. The nu-metalesque vocals on some of the songs aren't as bad as some would have you believe, but they're quite bad, and nothing on the album stands out except for Disco Queen, which is a nonsenical attempt and fusing prog. metal and disco which falls into being so bad its enjoyable.
Syd Barrett - The Madcap Laughs - 1970 A Very disturbed record, I'm not sure if it's Floyd or what but this is some great music. In ways it is better than Pink Floyd were at the time of the making of this album. Songwriting and production just make it a delight to hear. What is heart-breaking is how obviously out of his mind he was. It isn't musically all over the place, which I'm surprised at because usually acid trips lead to really experimental, avant garde stuff. This is some of the best psychedelia I've heard.
Monkeys for Nothin' and the Chimps for Free by Reel Big Fish - 2007 :iia: Great Ska as usual from Reel Big Fish, I wasn't a moment bored and there is enough variation in the album. The instrumentals were simple but effective and great bass, the lyrics and vocals are great too. David Gilmour - About Face - 1984 B- Some songs sound like Momentary Lapse of Reason outtakes, but all in all it is enjoyable. Some nice solos and Murder is actually very good. As an album it struggles to be consistent. I think his debut and On An Island are better. [editline]2nd May 2011[/editline] Elton John - Madman Across The Water - 1971 B+ Some say it's one of his very best, I don't really think it's all that. Indian Sunset is awesome and it is very well put together, but I feel it lacks the spark that was present on Tumbleweed Connection and Honky Chateau albums.
Skindred - Union Black 7/10 This is a quite pronounced stylistic shift for the band, and while this album has some very good songs on it, the toning back of the reggae elements, combined with a nu-metalish feel in places, don't work entirely in the albums favour. Still a good album, and a must for fans, but inferior to Roots Rock Riot and SB&DF.
Stevie Wonder - Songs In The Key of Life - 1976 A+ Second masterpiece by the man that is Stevie. The other being Innervisions, this is something extraordinary. At the age of only 26, he makes a double album that measures beyond greatness. He has an amazing set of musicians to accompany him on this journey. Everyone wants to say it's a classic and whatever, but this is more. This is pure uncomparable genius. 85 Minutes couldn't contain as much joy than this record has to give.
Very accomplished prog album. Lyrically and technically it's one of the band's most interesting and enjoyable releases. Has a very 'Dark Side of the Moon' feel to it. The other four tracks are great too, especially 'Bonnie the Cat'. Four dark brooding Steven Wilsons out of five. Negative Emotions/Positive Outlook- Monomate A brilliant experimental electronic album. it's difficult to describe, since it's experimental and drawing influences from lots of different genres. 8-bit, noise, industrial, and ambient are all there, and his nintendocore roots are still there but it's definitely not a nintendocore release. 4 Peets out of 5 This being only a demo album of unreleased tracks/rough tracks from the new album this is obviously going to be far from perfect. But it's very good, which is really promising for the new release :3:
Kryptonite - DJ Fresh 8/10 DJ Fresh's latest album gives a fresh (pun intended) view of Drum 'n' Bass, the various sounds of the genre being mixed with a little bit of dubstep onto this album turn it into a melting pot of musical genius. A must listen for any DnB fans.

who's Stevie Wonder? [editline]2nd May 2011[/editline] A+ I think everyone's heard of There She Goes (there she goeees agaaayyn), but there's plenty of other great songs here. Check this out if you like R.E.M. or the Stone Roses.
I got two albums to rate! The Residents - Tweedles! (2006) --/5 What the hell The Residents - The Bunny Boy (2008) --/5 What the hell
Muse, Origin of Symmetry. Their early work such as Showbiz was a little too "Radiohead" for my tastes, but when Origin came out in 2001, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound that flows from one track to another throughout the entire album, and a new unique sound for each that really gives the songs a big boost. He's been compared to Thom Yorke, but I think Matthew Bellamy has a far much more bitter, cynical sense of humor and interesting personality.
Imo, not as memorable as My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasty (Note, I'm kind of going through his albums with no particular order), but amazing quality stuff regardless, Kanye so far has failed to disappoint me. 9/10
