It was in this case quite hard to name one genre, if it's melodic death metal, melodic gothic metal, melodic dark metal or any mix of these depends on who you ask. One thing is for sure; It's Awesome! There's that dark, melancholic feel in it and the beauty that I love in my metal. Best songs are "Unbroken Silence" and "The Dead End".
Seriously, your Leela fetish is continuously creeping me the fuck out Fuck man get a life
Seriously, your Leela fetish is continuously creeping me the fuck out Fuck man get a life
It's not a fetish. I'm a Leela fan and a nerdlinger, that's all. Rated Box.

Agreed he's way cooler

Goblin - Tyler, The Creator 8/10
You got banned for it :v:
I don't think I so. Check the first page of the post your pics thread

Nah
You're derailing the thread. ResetPanda: Be happy that I haven't reported you for flaming yet.

Absolutely amazing voidy mix of shoe-gaze and post-rock. Atmospheric, moody and deep - probably my favorite album of all time It saddens me deeply that this band is so unheard of when this album is seriously this amazing. They don't even have a wikipedia page. They only made ~500 copies by themselves and published it through Enemies List Home Recordings. You can however buy it for $5 digitally which comes with a 75 page book that was written by some history professor about the themes of the album. I will oversell you this album -- I cannot recommend it more.
Late as fuck but I bought this online and holy fuck
Beastie Boys - Hot Sauce Committee Part Two - 2011 B+ It's very good, but not their best. Everyone is talking as if this is the greatest thing they've done and whilst such great grooves like "Multilateral Nuclear Disarmament" and "Too Many Rappers" are there, we still are on terms with a comeback rather than masterpiece. It's solid and very well made, what also surprised me is how unique a hip hop experience it is. While it's not new to incorporate funk styles into it they used distorted vocals to a very big effect. It works well and doesn't stop working well. Licensed To Ill is something this doesn't compare to, but as a comeback it is a hell of an album. [editline]5th May 2011[/editline] Moby - Everything Is Wrong - 1995 B+ This is sublime, I reckon it's the start of his greatness as you go through the tracks. This is towards the end and it blows minds. I didn't realise it was him who did this. :iia: All in all, I would say it's not as proportioned as it could be but a heck of a ride.
My favourite song from that album is "When It's Cold I'd Like to Die"
It's great. I think I prefer his "Wait For Me" album, though. Also can't wait for his new one.
Rated winner only because the mention of The Residents, but if you do not like them well then. forget you. :colbert:
I never said I liked them or not, I actually have no idea what to say about them. So I didn't say much or rate those two albums. But I still have them on my iPod and for some reason, I have quite an urge to listen to those albums again and other stuff by them. Death in June - But, What Ends When the Symbols Shatter? (1992) 1.5/5 Thought it was really boring, the songs never seemed to get anywhere. I'll probably give it another try, but I'm not expecting it to get any better.
Coheed and Cambria - Good Apollo I'm Burning Star IV Part 2: No World For Tomorrow A Science fiction storylines? Ridiculous album titles? This is prog, motherfucker. Every song on this album is strong, emotive and could each hold their own as a single, as to be expected of Coheed with their natural sing-a-long aspect to their music. As the final chapter in The Amory Wars saga, the final song "On The Brink" closes the story on a fairly ambiguous (the comics still haven't been released yet...) but still awesome high note.

Saucerful was more creative than that.
Can't believe I went in to detail on 6 albums just to have that faggot come in with his Leela shit. Thanks for the heart, Akayz :unsmith: atleast someone acknowledges my effort

It's like dance punk/indie kinda stuff, but they use no guitars. Their bass takes its place, which gives an awesome sound :iia: 4 scary elephant men out of 5
