If you don't feel anything while listening to a drone metal album, then the genre's probably not for you. It does kind of place you in submission, but once you're at that place then you can only sit there for an hour with that drool face thing. :smugdog:

Yeah there's nothing wrong with your opinion. Everyone is different.

It all started here with the god awful vocals. A curse on music forever that would lead to a string of the most terrible acts the industry has ever seen. This album spawned the living menace we face today. Some of you may have taken kindly to it, but you are simply wooed by the hispter cred it wafts under your smelly hairy noses. This album is a travesty. Where do I begin? I already begun. The vocals. Devoid of emotion, seeming to have been read off a sheet of paper into a microphone before being sent off to the shelves. But not before they lay beneath the bored voice some lethargic instrumental, about as exciting as the abysmal album cover. This is where music comes to die. Album earns one point for being consistent in it's overwhelming shittiness.

I do prefer Closer. But if you don't like the style of music then don't bother.
yeah just read through that "A curse on music forever that would lead to a string of the most terrible acts the industry has ever seen. This album spawned the living menace we face today. Some of you may have taken kindly to it, but you are simply wooed by the hispter cred it wafts under your smelly hairy noses." The fuck you smoking bro it wasn't THAT bad
I would've give it a 1 but I didn't like anything about it either Seemed really bland, nothing interesting in it for me
Yeah actually same. Though I really am just taking this piss for that whole thing, I didn't really enjoy the album during my one listen EVER. [editline]26th June 2011[/editline] Another time I'll give it a proper chance.
I mean it wasn't bad it was just boring
Are you the kind of person who has such low standards of music that nothing strikes you as bad anymore and rather 'not to my tastes' or something. Because that's me.
no I know bad and good it was just boring, nothing of any interest to me I dl'd it because I'd head Joy Div were pretty cool, and I'd seen the album art a bunch of times and I figured "hey this might be cool" I was wrong
no I know bad and good it was just boring, nothing of any interest to me I dl'd it because I'd head Joy Div were pretty cool, and I'd seen the album art a bunch of times and I figured "hey this might be cool" I was wrong
I thought you listened to a lot of punk rock? The only real reason I could think of for not liking that is that you don't particularly like the style.

The tides had turned and you found yourself on a distant shore, unsure of where to go next. The music world is harsh and unpredicatble and I fear us lowly Joy Division nay sayers are abandoned on some desert island, unable to escape. And then we realise we're on the mainland on the beach of the biggest city of the world. The city called "we dislike Joy Division", and then we realise that only a few people on some shitty little island on the internet liked this band. And a new day is born. A brighter future. For everyone.
I'm on a horse
We don't like horses in this city. You are banished to 'Joy Division apathy village'.
where is this going exactly?
Some place nice. :3: But you do like punk rock no?
Fuck this shit I'm going to build a space base and everyone can come in and float in zero g but you. It'll have rocket ships and shit. And lazers [editline]26th June 2011[/editline]
Some place nice. :3: But you do like punk rock no?
Well if you're referring to punk as in hardcore kind of stuff I guess so
Well if you're referring to punk as in hardcore kind of stuff I guess so
No, not hardcore. :geno: I meant stuff like Clash and Television.
I have never listened to stuff like that
I have never listened to stuff like that
You should always see the roots of punk before listening to stuff like Joy Division. :v: I don't know if you'll enjoy it a whole lot seeing as you like hardcore. But give Marquee Moon and London Calling a listen some time.
No, not hardcore. :geno: I meant stuff like Clash and Television.
And anal cunt. I really need a seth avatar
I have like 4 gigs of music I haven't listened to yet. I'll wait a bit
You downloaded 4 gigs of music at a time and didn't bother to hear it? Have about 120 gigs on this harddrive and I can say it's almost all heard. :buddy:
