This is a fusion of post-rock and glitchy electronica similar to World's End Girlfriend, but superior to any of his work that I've heard in my opinion. The music is very elegant and unobtrusive, which does lead to a few occasions where it gets a little boring, especially in the first half of the second of the two tracks, but on the whole this a very strong album, easily among my favourite post-rock works.

Mount Eerie - Wind's Poem
introverted lo fi folk and numbing bursts of what sounds close enough to black metal. I like to think of painting sometimes as an analogy for music: in this case, we have a big canvas covered in subtle dark grey tones. Sort of difficult to listen to but if you let your self be swept up by the atmospherics there's some beautiful things here. still I think it's a little too sleepy and sorrowful sounding to be as good as his classic albums under the Microphones name, such as Mount Eerie and The Glow Pt 2, which were more adventurous.

The album is a melting pot of IDM, Favela Beat and Hip-Hop that creates and album that's easy to listen to at any time of the day, from the blaring trumpets of [I]Sarah[/I] to the the throbbing bassline of the perfectly sampled [i]Summer's Gonna Hurt You[/i].
This album sets the tone of Diplo's work, present and future while showing some of his influences (the Brazillian tone of [I]Diplo Rhythm[/I] being one). A masterpiece from the jet setting DJ.

Well he was influenced by Black Metal on this album . In the song Stone's Ode he quotes part of a Burzum song with the lyrics "Life has new meaning".
If you guys couldn't tell yet I only really rate albums I extremely like.

People know them mostly for Bohemian Like You but they have some fucking incredible less conventional stuff as well. A really unique album, each song, despite the raw and discordant nature, has clearly been crafted to sound as good as possible. I highly recommend it.
