If it's an opinion then by definition it can't be right or wrong. How do people still not realize this?

It seems I forgot that part.
10/10, Every song as good as the last, I grew up listening to this, it triggers some sort of nostalgia.

Ellie Goulding- Lights
4.5/5
I was a bit interested in her music the first time I listened to her; I was all for the catchy beat in her song, Lights. Soon, I discontinued my interest for her works as I returned listening to some more Justice (:v:). Second time came, and I was astounded by her voice. They way she sang her songs in acoustic form blew me away. Her method was had a distinct tone to it, something I've never come across to. With further research, I found this album and gave it a listen. A hybrid of folk music and electronic music, folktronica in short, composed most, if not, everything in the tracklist.
I felt that this deserved a 4.5 for her awesome singing and beat, as well as slowly letting me branch out to more genres and such. Being confined to electronic music is nice, but it starts to take the toll on me sometimes. With her album, I can still have that electronic goodness with a mixture of something new.

Royksopp - Melody AM
Really chill atmospheric-like electronica. Little weird, but it's got some really awesome bass-lines.

I've never listened to Röyksopp. Shame I just bought two albums today real cheap, otherwise I would have checked them out right now.
However, it doesn't flow as well as it could, which drags down the score a bit.
That's what you get sometimes if you listen to a compilation album. Check out Music From The Big Pink or their self-titled.

Now this is just kickass.
Previously my favorite Earth album was Hibernaculum and when I got this I didn't think this could match up with the awesomeness of Hibernaculum.
It didn't only match up with it, but it exceeded it.
This is a collection of some incredibly awesome and atmospheric songs.
Anyone who can enjoy slow songs should definitely get this album.[/release]

Yeah, that's always a risk you've gotta account for. I'm definitely going to pursue The Band more.

This is the first electronica album I ever stumbled across back in 2003. Amazing, amazing stuff. Melody AM is alot chiller than their other albums.

Helms Alee - Night Terror
Well this is pretty amazing. Maybe it isn't intentional, but to me this sounds kind of the lovechild of stoner and indie rock. Very beautiful and heavy at the same time. It's not perfect though, sometimes I feel the songwriting is a bit sloppy. The transitions don't flow perfectly all the time, and sometimes I feel they hold a chord for too long. That's really the only complaints I have though, and I highly recommend it to both fans of contemporary rock and stoner/sludge metal who want to try something new.

Oh my god. Someone else who listens to Helms Alee :neckbeard:
I found them because the singer/guitarist Ben Verellen runs Verellen Amplifiers, a company I plan on ordering a custom guitar amp through when I have the money to do so. Reminds me, need to check out the new album

Justice

2007
Justice's first album, it demonstrated their capabilities as an electro house duo. The French have proved once again that they have an everlasting impression on house music. This album is excellent and is really inspirational.

Rather than simply saying "need I say more?", I will actually talk about this album.

Band: The Beatles
Album: Rubber Soul
Year: 1965
Grade: A+
Review: Rubber Soul is an amazing album. Songs like Nowhere Man, Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown), and Michelle, amongst others, have greatly inspired my music. This is one of my favorite Beatles albums (and I've heard them all. Multiple times) and I would recommend it to anyone.
Rubber Soul is my favourite album too. I love it. Except for What Goes On. That song is poop.

None of their songs are, as you put it, poop. Even Revolution 9 is, in it's own weird way, a decent song. I can stand to listen to it. It used to scare the fuck out of me, but now I love it.

5/5, no question about it.

Revolver is the best Beatle experience imo.
I am quite lucky to have a dad who had quite a large CD collection. ESPECIALLY: He has ALL the Beatles CDs I think.

Mammal - The Majority (2008)

It's quite hard to describe exactly what Mammal was, a sort of Semi-Funk Metal band with clear inspiration from Rage Against the Machine and Karnivool, but I was glad to find the CD yesterday despite the short-lived band ending back in 2009; I'd heard good things about them and decided to give it a shot.
And it's fucking amazing, every aspect of every song is just brilliant. Ox's vocals are unrelenting and brilliantly varied, the guitar work is just fantastic, the bass is unparallelled and the drums are nothing short of excellent. This album has my complete approval. Smash the Pinata is my favourite song on the album, beginning with a spoken word section over a brilliant drum and bass combination then building up to a heavy final minute with a breathtaking climax.
It's truly a shame the band fell apart so quickly, this is an album that I cannot fault for what it does. It's a brilliant collection of energetic and political music and each song shines brilliantly in its own regard. I cannot recommend this enough.
