Well i took it to a garage to balance the tyres, they did it but the noise still remains. Fuck. Going to replace the other driveshaft and the 2 front wheel bearings, if the noise is still there then god knows what the fuck it is.

Quite the opposite for me. 1st gear is apeshit crazy, 2nd is pretty decent, 3rd is alright, and 4th is kind of dead.
Although, on my mother's Mazda CX-7, it's a different story. 1st gear is loud and weak, and 2nd gear is where the power kicks in mostly. I assume 2nd gear is where the turbo kicks in, but I don't know.

Not necessarily. Turbo spool is also affected by load, not just rpm.
