What do you guys think of the Subaru Impreza STI?
What do you guys think of the Subaru Impreza STI?
Eww Impreza Hatchback. They should make a Leanback instead of that, and keep the sedan in the lineup too.
My dad's got this awesome, yellow '94 Corvette. One time, while we were both on a drive from Florida to Texas, empty stretch of road, put his foot down. Couldn't get my head out of the seat. Was fucking awesome.
Cleaned my mustang today. the Interior is actually in good shape, and the convertible top works :derp:
Post is useless without pics.
I updated my post. You had the color wrong though. This is what my car looks like. It also has a black interior.
You drive a BMW? Nice. I have a golf GTi. How do you find your car?
It's really fun to drive. I'm not a huge fan of smooth handling, and the handling of this car is rough and has a sport feel. I like it. The black interior is really nice looking, maybe I can take pictures and post them here when I get time. The only complaint I have is that the car is really low, so making it over speed bump can get a little rough sometimes which is why i go extremely slow on speed bumps. Other than that it's a great car. I got it for $20k.
The USA has a 25 year exemption rule, like how Canada has a 15 year exemption rule.
I can't believe I didn't know that... Is it something they should've taught in driver's ed? Because they didn't teach me at all.. And I'm guessing that there will be a rather large surge in the car enthusiasts community of skylines coming in...?

And I'm guessing that there will be a rather large surge in the car enthusiasts community of skylines coming in...?
No, don't worry about it, it's not something they would teach in driver's ed. It's simply some intricate import law that is absolutely ridiculous. And I wouldn't say there will be a LARGE surge of enthusiasts importing them, as I don't believe that there are many skyline enthusiasts that will actually be able to import them. Mainly because a large percentage of them don't even have their driver's license, and even if they did, they only like the R34 as that's the one in all the video games. Funny thing, the driver's skyline is the R32, but the R34, the most popular one, is heavier. The R33 is the heaviest. As soon as 2014 comes around, there is going to be an R32 and a 180SX in a shipping container with my name on it.
I always had a special like for the R33, not sure why. I really don't like the looks of the R32 as much, and the R34 seems too...subaruish to me.
The thing with the earlier S13s is that they have the CA18 instead of the SR20. Therefore R32 for me please :v: However the price is convincing http://www.tradecarview.com/used_car/japan%20car/nissan/silvia/2569556/
I finally found an engine that will fit in my Golf 2 :buddy:
Holy SHIT, look at that turbo.
I've seen bigger on supras.
Supras don't have anything. Check out some of the turbos they put on Nissans in the Arab emirates or places like that. (sand trucks)
2004 VW Jetta TDI. 1.9L Turbodiesel, stickshift, boatloads of torque, gets 40+ mpg, and only cost me $8.5K
1990 Honda CRX HF 1.6l N/A gasser, stickshift, lots of gearing, gets 45+ mpg, and only cost me $300.
BMW M1 Homage What's really shocking; go find out the date it was designed.
$300? Pretty fucking good deal for something that gets you from point A to B. You really never truly appreciate your car until you're forced to walk the same distance you regularly drive.

I fix :) I put too much of a fuel pump in at first though, It didn't like that. (MPFI pump for a TBI car, 30lbs too much fuel pressure)

I hope he's got a good head gasket.

I ran a compression test on my car today, 235/240/235/240psi. I've also learned how to float gears pretty well, useful for when I drive the truck at work. Pretty much all that's happened recently.
I feel that we don't have much to talk about anymore in this thread :geno: It's dying :byodood: I haven't seen cars with Mattracks here: Or any hot rods:
So it looks like I may need a catalytic converter replacement on my 740i. Sure these e38's are money drains, but I <3 my car.
