never liked gold rims on a street car, yes even japanese hurf durf tuning
Didn't a Lexus come with golden rims once?
Didn't a Lexus come with golden rims once?
Yeah one of the older ES models I think, but they didn't have ricer rims like above.
People who knows anything about rims, what rims will go well with a Civic EG Hatch? I thought about Works Equip. Dey pretty kool namsayin
Not really a fan of FWD cars but some look good none the less I think these are CE28N in mag blue But just to let you know, a Cusco cage is practically mandatory with these wheels. It like they were made for each other.
Giant spoiler on FWD Civic = :downs:
I agree that one is ridiculous but FWD cars need downforce in the back to. That one is actually more of an air brake lol

Got to sit in the drivers seat of one of these bad boys: Shit's awesome imo.
i like the lowered hood and such but really they didnt change a lot with all the hype they gave it... is there anything behind that all electric one? its out in like 2011/12 i think?
my mustang got beaten by a civic ): my car never works as good as it should for ~5 mins after starting, and then all of the sudden it works just fine. so i don't think its the engine being cold, because of how sudden it stops being sluggish
seafoam lol

^ Yea they are pretty decent.
Stock if you have any self-respect.
Stock if you have any self-respect.
shutup
shutup
Compelling argument.
Compelling argument.
shutup
Stock if you have any self-respect.
+1, if you're car doesn't have nice rims in the first place it ought to never have them. I'd much rather be seen in a old civic with hubcaps then like a dumbass with 1k rims on their cheap ass car.
+1, if you're car doesn't have nice rims in the first place it ought to never have them.
Specifically if it's an ecobox from over 10 years ago.
first set of wheels look way way better on that car
u shutup too
I don't understand the fascination with ricers. The spoilers that serve NO purpose, the almost always scoops that again serve NO purpose, the need for turbos/nitrous in order to break 12's in a quarter-mile drag... etc. But maybe it's because I practically came out of the womb around horsepower and real powerful muscle cars (and I mean 60's 'vettes with 600+ horse power, without addons), and therefore, the almost 'cheap' look of ricers isn't attractive to me? Can a ricer fan tell me what they find so awesome about civics, preludes, and the like?
The way I see it imo, it's basically that muscle cars are all about power, and are more suited for drag racing, whereas imports are about speed and handling and more suited for drifting or track racing. Just my two cents. In terms of cars, i'm not biased. I like muscle cars as much as I tuners.

What annoys me is that some of these retards thing that slapping on a nice set of wheels for looks qualifies you as a "ricer".

Practically any car can be modded or hot-rodded into any type of racing, depending on what the owner desires. But meh, I suppose it's a style thing.

You can buy yourself a nice little EG hatch or something, slap some coilovers on and have a pretty decent if not great autocross/track car. To do this to a mustang or vette isn't exactly easy and would require tons more modification. Same with drag cars, slap some boltons on a v8 and you can get well over 400hp easy. You can't do this on a small import.
Check out these pics I took the other night:
