This is one of the reasons why the OP should provide the palette, it's hard to take already drawn stuff and just paste it and say "I made this for this competition heh".
Or those who don't want to use the palette can post WIPs.

Dealing with the "out of palette" entries.
I can deal with minor changes like Yusk's.
But Tech, you went COMPLETELY out of palette.
So I'd say put it in palette or just scrap it.
Because it's too drastic.

Just saying your personal definition isn't necessarily everyone's so it's not exactly obvious :V

I don't think I'll win to be honest, I love Wewt's entry though.
Recon looks like he has taken time in order to get the islands look just right.
Wewt has a very creative entry and i love the whale.
between them its close
IlikeHL2's image is the only entry compared to all of ours that is properly balanced and leads the eye like it should
I honestly think wewt!s is a lot better than reconunits, simple is sometimes better. The floating island stands out way too much and the mist(?) looks really, really out of place.
That's atleast my 2 cents.
I think that for the next competition the OP should pick a colour palette from this site :

It'll help you with picking colours that compliment eachother and you get 5 shades of every colour too.
