Just forget about cigs. They're shit. Weed is where it's at.

Word. 500th post for weed!
I had a Partial Pneumothorax, in other words, my lung collapsed. I'm only 20, take this as a warning. (Although I did smoke alot of pipes) It's really not as hard as you would think, only when you're drinking, then you're all FUCKEN DURRIES
Sadly, I'm still smoking.
Cigarettes are bad.
I tried smoking for a few months, I would often have one a day or more.
Then I just stopped. I kept feeling like shit so I just stopped. It really wasn't difficult at all, I didn't experience withdrawal symptoms. I just sort of stopped and felt better.

I still smoke every now and then though, once in a blue moon, maybe once every fortnight.
Well they've been doing it for 50+ years. Read the package next time you have a chance, do you think any of that stuff is natural in tobacco? Benzene, ethanol, formaldehyde, arsenic, ammonia, methanol, hydrogen cyanide, acetone (fucking nail polish remover), cadmium.
That's just a few of the chemicals they add. And yeah, they rarely ever get any flak for it.
Well yes, but how does it make it more addictive? (apart from ethanol but I hardly think smoking it would do anything)

There's 1000 different things that make it act on your brain more powerfully.
Try to find some papers to back it up. I know for sure that cyanide is really addictive.
mmm gotta love that poison.

I am still masochistic so I will continue to smoke
I started smoking when I was 14, and continued with a pack and a half+ per day habit until I was about 20, stopped cold turkey cause I developed a bacterial lung infection that took about 3 months to clear up. Picked the habit back up until just about 2 months ago when I started having horrible chest pains. The pain is still too awful to smoke anything or breathe for that matter.
Anyways, in the 8 years I've smoked cigarette's, i tried quitting multiple times and succeeded a couple times (for a few months at least). It's hard, very hard. It took me getting debilitating chest pains to finally quit. lol
Cold turkey.
Worked for like 3 months until, bam, I started again.
weed is 5000x better than cigarettes for one godly reason
weed doesn't kill you
Not being able to sprint as fast sucked quite hard.
These nerds know nothing of smoking. Just start to cut down. Smoke Sterling which is cheaper and has less nicotine. I cut down from 4-5 a day to around 4-5 a week. I don't plan on fully quitting yet. If you're gagging for a fag, get some water and tell yourself you don't NEED it.
I started smoking when i was 15 (17 now) i stopped in march 2009 because my uncle died of lung cancer at 45 :smith:
Not to be too negative but most people on here aren't old enough or smoke enough to really get addicted. I'm 20 and have recently quit, I was smoking since I was 15. Up to 10 a day and if I went out drinking on the weekend I'd smoke 20 in a night. I've always been healthy apart from the smoking (ironic, I know), I'm down the gym every week day. A few months ago I woke up after a night out and about 30 fags, my throat was pretty rough and that was the first time I'd felt as shite after so many cigarettes. Throughout the day I just didn't want a cigarette, the thought of it was putting me off even more, I thought about how much I must have fucked my lungs up which lead me to think about how my performance down the gym would improve if I quit.
I started by not smoking during the week, having a glass of water instead of a cigarette at work and removing the lighter from my car so I wasn't tempted. I limited myself to a total of 5 cigarettes over the weekend, dropped this by 1 as each week passed then cut myself off from cigarettes completley. It was hard because most of my friends smoke but they were sound about it, never giving me a fag if I asked when I was drunk.
That was just over 3 months ago and I'm pretty much past the cravings now, it gets easier after the first couple of months.
I've been trying to quit for about a year now, with no success. :saddowns:

It's hard, but I'll feel better in a week or so. Quiting sucks.
I highly doubt that i will quit, quitting it would be for the better, but i actually do not want that if to be honest.
I'm immune to the addiction. I originally started to look 'cool' but grew tired of it so I just quit. Super easy, had no cravings. I'll smoke occasionally in social situations every once in a blue moon just for the look though :v:

I just like the way it feels. It is very relaxing and is one of the most comforting things I do. :/
Not smoking in the first place
This. Why start smoking, it's the worst drug ever
Pour the cigarette in the milk, let it dry, smoke it, you never want it again. I have been smoking for 3 years now, 10 atleast a day. I think I try the milk trick aswell

You saying that nicotine is worse of a drug than Meth, Crack, Heroin and Speed?
i'm trying to quit.

Sounds like it would make me sick as shit.

Yes it is, atleast those feel better, so it's not an entirely worthless waste of health

Sup
You don't feel better when using Meth, Crack, Heroin or Speed. Turns your life to shit. Ciggs can have the same effect, but they usually don't.

True, I guess I was dumb
