If there's no mention about how assignments are to be turned in (e.g. hardcopy, etc), I'd smack the instructor with that.

She has suggested that a student turn it in digitally since he did not have a copy, but had it on the cloud, and she went "That's alright, just e-mail it to me." She's not incompetent about technology is the thing. In fact, she utilizes it more than my other teachers. Only confirming that she is, in fact, a Necron Tomb Lord

Syllabi are there for a reason.
