Last week I was supposed to work 2 days. The first day I came in projectile vomited into the trash bin after my first hour from nowhere, the next day the nausea still persisted so they said I couldn't come in.
When I was in last week they had me scheduled for Monday and Friday this week. But today I got a million phonecalls and texts when I was sleeping and the phone muted saying I was supposed to come in today, so I dont even know what the fuck. How am I supposed to have a job where they just changed my schedule at the last second without even warning me?
How am I supposed to deal with their one-sided upper-management-sense-of-entitlement snootery when I call them back and explain that I cant predict when unexpected schedule changes happen?
I mean, I wont be super upset for losing my worst job of my life, but its not very fun to be yelled at on the phone just to see what can be done and prevent more damage..

But I'm not home enough for it to be a problem and there's no other way for me to get everything to fit, despite trying 4-5 different arrangements at this point. So breaking my neck it is.

What a productive weekend, spent the entire time playing Gears of War. Got the "Xbone Ultimate Edition" for X-Mass, came with delayed digital codes for the 4 360 games that I just got this week.
Ultimate version of the Gears 1 is just a port of the PC version from a few years back. Nicer cutscenes/graphics and a few extra levels toward the end that are very meh. AI is still dumb as bricks making a few sequences unnecessarily hard and leading to some hilarious glitches.
Ended up watching Gears 2 on youtube because I had already played it to the end before and didn't feel like replaying it.
Never bought Gears 3 so that was today's power-gaming marathon run and overall it was decent with enough variety to keep me going. There were a few spots where it chugged at 5-10 FPS but i'm going to chalk that one up to the Xbone's 360 emulator being unoptimized.
Not sure if i'm going to bother with Judgment because it's prequel/backstory stuff and a lot of recycling of mechanics from Gears 3.
Overall I've always like Gears of War and I'll be tempted to look at Gears 4 if the reviews are any good.
Tho tis a shame the Ultimate Edition's deal ended on New Year's, still p sweet of Microsoft to give away all 4 games just for buying the remaster of the first 1.
i get major headaches using my glasses at my pc, even in well lit rooms. feels like my eyes get mega unfocused. i just use them in classes to see the board
I've had glasses all my life so I'm used to them :v:
though if it's possible I do want to get laser eye surgery

I don't see without glasses very well haha. I legally can't drive. In fact, when I first got my eye exam in 6th grade, I was still super into the whole idea of becoming a fighter pilot. The first thing the optomoetrist told me was "Hope you didn't want to be a fighter pilot! hahahah!"

I used to wear my glasses at school and then take them off when I get home. About 3 years ago though the eye doctor said I should just start wearing them full time. It was a bit hard to get used to at first but I got over it.
