I aint hiding it but I dont see a reason that my parents should know I'm gay before I have my boyfriend over to show them who I stick my weiner in. It's not like them not knowing you're gay limits your homosexuality in any way. Do you plan to talk to them about gay shit or what? If not then yeah theres not really a need to come out because it doesnt really affect you that badly unless they're gonna kick you out...

I'm advocating for not giving a fuck, most people in first world countries dont give a fuck and even then its a slim minority that would persecute their own children for their sexual orientation. My parents have always told me that they'd love me gay or straight and so there's no "coming out" or "big moment" for me, I bring my boyfriend to them and tell em that we're fuckin and thats that.

Because I can't handle living in an environment where I have to hide a significant part of myself. How does that not make any sense?
Are you going to talk about how gay you are to your parents? The only thing that ever got on my nerves was my dad always talking about girls. Your sexuality is hardly prominent in a normal family lifestyle,if its really that big of a characteristic for you then go for it...

It makes sense to come out - having the freedom to not worry about hiding that part of yourself from your family at home is really great
