im drinking tea and programming stuff in matlab I want to program- simple tests of genetic algorithms to make melodies. My first test was a disaster. So I'm starting basic and writing a program to specify a musical scale, using my musimathics book

Doing pretty great. I got myself a nice tablet pc today. Runs all the things I need. I never realized how much I needed something like this.
I've been growing my facial hair out as of late and having a beard a mustache has boosted my self confidence at times because I don't feel/look so twinkish-babyman. However, at the same time, I'm only 20 and it is by no means a full beard and I feel shit-like about potentially looking like a try-hard or someone who doesn't practice grooming.
I don't know what to do.
I've had to do this evening's work on a contraption in Gmod 3 times tonight. First time, server crashed with no dupe. My fault. Second time, an overzealous admin cleaned up the whole server. Third time, I discovered that at the very beginning of me starting work the suspension on my bus got fucked up and I have to start over again.
Seeing as clothing and shoes was talk of the day recently, I decided to take a picture of what I usually wear now in the cold, but it is impossible to take a decent picture of oneself. Also shoes.

Well your self confidence is important. And one day that young beard will grow into a sexy adult beard.
Also get nice head hair too. Few things beat a sexy full beard with some nice head hair.

Let it grow out a bit; if it seems patchy now, that's just because no beard grows in full and bushy. Give a week or two, at least, before you take a razor to it.
