Idk guys you make it seem like the only way to get a relationship is via these apps like grindr and okcupid, have I just been lucky in that everyone I've ever been with has started off as being a friend and then moved on from there or what, I tried grindr and that just seemed forced as hell.
In my neck of the woods the only way to meet other gay dudes is through Grindr/Tinder or perhaps a gay bar, although I'm not old enough for that yet (god bless America)
so yes, I'd say you're incredibly lucky. I don't come across other gay dudes that I'm also attracted to and share similar interests with ever

I swear that I will never meet a homosexual guy IRL ever unless I go to some event and how the fuck would I know where to find that. Like straights have it easy only being attracted to one sex that there is probably 90% straights of. while bi or homo needs to really search to find that 10% percent. Well bi can find women too but if they want a guy it will be the same percentage as for homo.
I actually really enjoy being bi for that reason. Theoretically I can enjoy working through the upsides and downsides of getting with either gender, and feeling attracted to most people feels freeing in a way.
Of course, not in practice, because I'm socially trash.
More people are gay than you know, someone like me you would have no idea if I was gay or not unless you specifically asked me. I'm not out in the sense I tell everyone but if anyone asks I'll answer truthfully. I guess I'm just a lucky sod and live in a place where being gay is whatever and people are totally clear on it

In Australia you generally have a hard time unless you're in Sydney or Melbourne. The apps are sometimes the only way to talk to people

This too. I'm similar to this, and so are a lot of people I've been with. When you don't know whether someone is gay, I've found it's much more difficult to be clear about your intentions.

when i was a wee homo lad in high school I had an older gay friend and he told me nightmare stories about grindr, and how he hooked up with his substitute teacher and found his friends dad on there
