Aren't The Living Tombstone the ones who made Spooky Scary Skeletons? Why are they the bad guys now?
Spooky Scary Skeletons was made by Andrew Gold in 1996. you must be thinking of a remix [editline]2nd September 2014[/editline] ninja
Oh. Well yeah, apparently I got that mixed up somehow. Thanks for clarification.
What a good game with such a shit fanbase
5N@F's fanbase is like the closest you get to a 'normal' fanbase. There's really nothing special about the fandom; all they do is discuss & produce fanzine, like all fandoms do. I think you're calling it that simply because it exists at all.
It's the fucking Living Tombstone, what did you guys expect. He hasn't made anything good since that Spooky Scary Skeletons remix. I'd post some of his worst stuff but I fear it's not safe for Facepunch.
So you give that as an example of something good he's done? Take Spooky, BPM it to 130 and add the literal most generic beat and bassline to it ever? This song is miles above that stuff.
Maybe he should get a singer instead of using Moonbase Alpha.
It's like a higher pitch Microsoft Sam
I could listen to his music if it was only the Instrumental. Can't stand the vocals at all.
me too... If I was still in middle school and thought songs about video games were fun to listen to.
It's almost like people have differing tastes in music The vocal-less version is better for sure but I don't mind the song itself.
Has no one realized yet that maybe the reason for the microsoft sam is because it's meant to be the animatronics singing? jus' sayin'
still doesn't sound great
it's alright
This is an obvious cash grab, his music is generic and bland as fuck.
Tombstone's stuff has always been very formulaic, he's really only done two or three songs/mixes that are actually all that distinctive. I wouldn't necessarily say the rest is bad, but those few he does that are actually unique are certainly better than the rest.
FN@F is good and all but this song is just like bluehg.
I don't think it's as disgustingly horrible as some people are making it out to be, but it is pretty generic and unremarkable.
The only song based on a video game worth listening too
My favorite is this simply on the account that's only a game song if you followed it's plot as well as being a great song to boot
And the plot they have is really only loosely inspired by MegaMan. Really you could change the character names and you'd never know. Which I think makes it better because it's not all in your face "YO GUYS WE LOVE MEGAMAN LOOK AT HOW MEGA OUR MANS ARE LOOK"
Has no one realized yet that maybe the reason for the microsoft sam is because it's meant to be the animatronics singing? jus' sayin'
Tone doesnt even match their characters, it doesnt sound threatening at all.
Tone doesnt even match their characters, it doesnt sound threatening at all.
I could see it sounding chica. TBH I honestly don't see why people hate this so much. Bet if it had been some other artist you never heard of this would get winners.
My ears are bleeding now
I could see it sounding chica. TBH I honestly don't see why people hate this so much. Bet if it had been some other artist you never heard of this would get winners.
What? Uhh, no? I had no idea who the living tombstone was before this thread, song was still horrible, the lyrics are weird, like somebody mentioned before it seems like he was more focused on making them rhyme rather than making something good. I can get the idea behind the vocoder/autotune effect he's got going on but it's not very well executed, at some moments sounds like a garbled mess and sometimes it drowns out the instrumentals, as for the instrumentals, they're just really flacid generic electro. meh [editline]5th September 2014[/editline] Also videogame songs are dumb
The lyrics remind me of what I wrote in middle school when I was forced to write rhyming songs for class. The flow is just awful because of that weird forced rhyme bullshit.
I decided to listen to more of this guy's songs. This one has got to be the worst of them all, holy shit. Lets ignore the subject matter here, the actual music starts to sound more like just noise and loses rhythm at points, the singing is just god awful, especially during the chorus where the guy singing just mumbles really fast and I have no idea what he's saying. The song isn't even appealing to listen to either.
