oh dear god that video
We could do something about Iron Lass?
stealing this from a friend but if a bunch of people dressed as trolls came up to my booth and sung i would just tell them to go home
Someone suggested Homestuck v4: KIDS AND FUN, is that any good?
Or what about Homestuck V4: Doof Nak?

Okay we're sticking to that.

If Bec is Earth's guardian, then why didn't he attempt to stop all of the other meteors caused by Sburb?
Being Andrew Hussie must be downright awkward.
I mean, just showing up at a comic convention and setting up a booth for your popular webcomic, and hordes of nerdy people dressed as trolls show up around your booth and start to sing you a song.

Enjoy this late video that really almost drove me to yell "NERDS!" At my screen.
That would've been really weird.
If i was hussie i would have just fucking ran.
I would run and never turn back.

This is why he needed to keep Falcore, even if he was rabid.
Pretty good Vriska though.

A First Guardian's purpose is to protect its planet and guide it towards its ultimate goal, and they lose their purpose after this goal has been achieved. Doc Scratch didn't stop the Alternian meteorites from striking down and wiping out trollkind, but he paved the way for his employer, Lrd English, to take over the planet. Bec didn't stop any of the Earth meteorites either, and actually contributed to mankind's extinction when he detonated the largest meteor. He could have destroyed it via another method or just warped it to the sun or something, but he didn't. Being a First Guardian doesn't make you the hero of the civilizations that live on the planet, only the planet itself's protector and guide.
WHat the hell Hussie, update already! You can't leave us on such a cliffhanger as breeding duties.
Am I the only one who doesn't remember a line involving 'You eat a weird bug and don't even care'? And I just read the whole thing in the past two days.

It was really early in the story, when Jade was first being introduced.

Oh, I was assuming it was in Act 5
I vaguely remember now.

That was actually pretty cool, it must take some small courage to dress up like that and it's not as if nerds have the highest of self esteem already and if I'd been drawing a webcomic for almost two years I would love for people to have taken such an interest to actually dress up and sing a song used in it
I'm new to Homestuck, and I'm not reading any of the thread until I'm up to date except for the OP, but I have to say...
WV's ascent after the countdown ends in the bunker... best part of the comic so far and the thing that made me want to make sure I read all of this if it's the last thing I do.

Be sure to join the STEAM group once you've caught up, and believe me when I say, there are better [S] panels to come after Ascend.

The [S] Panels are probably my favourite thing about Homestuck.
Probably.
My favourite thing about homestuck is how much of a grand story it is and how it manages to both take itself unseriously and tell a thrilling drama at the same time! And also because shoosh pap.
I love the animations and cutscenes. It tells a great story, but the [s] segments are simply phenomenal
Also, which do you like more, out of sheer preference? Problem Sleuth or Homestuck?
I like Problem sleuth, mostly because some of it was totally hilarious.
I like Homestuck a lot more. I never really got into Problem Sleuth.
I liked problem sleuth, but I love homestuck.
i didn't read problem sleuth and you all make me feel dirty about it :frown:
Pfft, casuals.
This is hypocritical because I hadn't read recent Homestuck until yesterday and today.
they are both awesome and if you don't read one you have only yourself to blame
I need an avatar, anybody have any ideas? I can do it myself, but I need something to go off of.
I think I would have gotten very angry had I followed problem Sleuth from the beginning, and not reading it later. There are a ton of panels that have nothing to do with anything, and that whole giant fan thing was confusing as hell and lasted way too long.

It was sort of fun in a weird way. I was never sure whether the next panel would become anything important later on, like we saw for some of the other items, or if they were meaningless objects made as a distraction.
This brings me to my own question: how much of Homestuck is player driven? This complex story couldnt have emerged from a bunch of people suggesting things. I recall Problem Sleuth being 95% player driven at the beginning and middle, but then Hussie took over to wrap it up.
