This brings me to my own question: how much of Homestuck is player driven?
Suggestion box was open until the 5th act, but Hussie still had the entire thing planned out. So pretty much none of it.
Problem sleuth was amusing but it lasted far longer then it should of, and was padded out with retarded bullshit. It's one of the main reasons I'm glad the suggestion block will never appear again. I liked the concept of PS but anyone who thinks it's a working of any huge worth is fooling themselves, homestuck almost fell into this space a few times with me but each time I start getting annoyed with shit dragging on something happens so, cool for that Edit: Oh and I know the point of PS was to be retarded and full of stupid stuff, but thousands of pages about a final boss is just far to much, I can't understand how Andrew had enough interests to drag it out that much

I loved Problem Sleuth, even through all the random stuff that happened it was hilarious and somehow still managed to be a story Also I think you forgot about the first half of the story being about escaping the room in the first place :v:
This brings me to my own question: how much of Homestuck is player driven?
He let people suggest actions and names in the beginning, then cut it down to names around the time that Jade was introduced, I think. By the time the trolls were introduced he only asked for names and then shut it down altogether after the last one was properly introduced.
hey guys update
I am disappointed with these "breeding duties." But Kanaya raising a mother grub in the heart of an asteroid is awesome.
ok I know to check the site every time someone posts so it doesn't ruin the update within one minute of it being updated jesus
How often is homestuck updated?
How often is homestuck updated?
Just about every day, unless there's a flash segment or something.
How often is homestuck updated?
Daily. Most of the time.
I'm at page #4862 right now, and I think I'm going to have to reread the whole thing when I get up to date, because somehow I've managed to miss half the story.. :v:
How often is homestuck updated?
Usually daily. Usually Andrew churns out 6 or 7 updates a day, but some weeks he has stuff to do so he updates 3 or so times a day.
How the fuck can he manage 6-7 pages a day :psyduck:
I find it interesting how Kanaya actively went out and researched human reproduction instead of assuming that troll culture is universal, like some of the other trolls do.

[img_thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/honkhonk.png[/img_thumb] working on this atm, little by little. getting closer
How the fuck can he manage 6-7 pages a day :psyduck:
This has become his job of sorts, probably profiting off of it enough to get by. So I guess he just expected to do it many times daily instead of once a week.
The mother grub kanaya is about to raise doesn't destroy the meteor because she sends it back in time and then it becomes her own lusus
The mother grub kanaya is about to raise doesn't destroy the meteor because she sends it back in time and then it becomes her own lusus
:gonk::gonk::gonk: I... I think you're right. Thats an incredibly smart prediction.
:gonk::gonk::gonk: I... I think you're right. Thats an incredibly smart prediction.
Also she needs to send the mother grub back because jack realises it as a threat to him for some reason (Probably because he doesn't want them to finish the game) and so Kanaya must send it back to produce the grubs then transportalize them forwards, the shock of its grubs disappearing causes it to no longer want to fulfil her role as Matriarch and instead looks after the Kanaya grub, recognizing it as it's own guardian I think I'm getting pretty good at predicting :v:

The paradox is resolved, however, if Mother Grubs that spawn from Matriorbs are perfect clones of their parent Mother Grub.
The only problem with this prediction is that it contains a grandfather paradox, because Kanaya cut the Matriorb out of her lusus's body. The paradox is resolved, however, if Mother Grubs that spawn from Matriorbs are perfect clones of their parent Mother Grub.
That could be possible, I don't know if it's anything extra to add on but Kanaya has the blood of her lusus inside of her (because she tried tasting it) and if the Matriorb hatching has anything to do with the one hatching it as well as where it was originally from then that may contribute to it being a perfect clone of itself
Now that I think about it, wouldn't a matriorb be very weird looking to a troll? It would be like a ball covered with ears.
Karkat Ectobiology'd the grubs back in [S] Karkat: Wake up didn't he?
Karkat Ectobiology'd the grubs back in [S] Karkat: Wake up didn't he?
Maybe it fails then, it would explain why it's a virgin mother grub when it's her lusus
Now that I think about it, wouldn't a matriorb be very weird looking to a troll? It would be like a ball covered with ears.
Horns. No one has visible ears in HS, but we should assume they all have them. [editline]18th January 2011[/editline] Automerrrge F:

[editline]18th January 2011[/editline] Automerrrge F:
No, I was saying that because the matriorb is covered in horns, it must look strange to a troll, like how a ball covered in ears would look strange to a human.
No, I was saying that because the matriorb is covered in horns, it must look strange to a troll, like how a ball covered in ears would look strange to a human.
Ah right. I agree :ohdear:
No, I was saying that because the matriorb is covered in horns, it must look strange to a troll, like how a ball covered in ears would look strange to a human.
But Trolls presumably have ears; Though I do agree with your point.
Kanaya is totally being weirded out by this thing right here. http://www.mspaintadventures.com/?s=6&p=005206
