I'm wishing Hussie would get away from what he's doing right now, it's not because I hate it it's because I keep seeing people whine and complain. It's bordering on fandumb

"Happen" I almost choked on my own saliva. The more I think about the recent developments, the more this is making sense. Vriska, with her megalomanical attitude, is attempting to take control of what is arguably the most powerful entity in the entireity of paradox space: SBURB. She, through means which I'm sure will be revealed later, broke the game entirely by creating Bec Noir and (I'm pretty sure) creating the Scratch to let him in. What she is doing now is building an entirely new game on the ruins of the old one, a game engineered by her to be the ultimate challenge and to be (somewhat) under her control. We already know that she has a bit of an obsession with challenging herself and others from her FLARPing sessions and her interactions with Tavros. It could be argued that she has created the most challenging game in paradox space for the simple purpose of beating it for personal glory, because what else does she have to gain, and what else would she want? Unless her idea of creating the ultimate nemesis is some farfetched scheme to get hate-fucked. Homestuck is becoming way less funny than the other Adventures... Come on Andy, where's my daily dose of moronic shenanigans, my random items turning into weapons, my oboes blocking doors out of nowhere and my gay porn magazines that make elves cry? WHERE ARE THEY?
wait you're saying vriska made battletoads? holy shit YES HOMESTUCK YOU ARE THE BEST ADVENTURE EVER

WHERE ARE THEY?
I like Problem Sleuth because it's unique out of all fiction. Making every adventure like it just cheapens the kind of story it was. PS was also a very very rare case of a random-events plot actually working. Coherent stories are usually just better.
She did. She made Jade sleep. The [future]dreams caused her to make The Bunny.
Well, yeah. I kind of worded that sentence poorly. Basically I think everyone's playing Vriska's game now, and more and more of what she's done is going to be revealed as things play out.
Homestuck's far from coherent per se, he, in the beginning, really only had the beginning and the end. . . .
There's a striking absence of plot holes. He doesn't have to retcon to fill them up or stitch together some sort of explanation why something doesn't make sense. If something doesn't make sense or there's a piece of the puzzle missing, it's on purpose and simply means he doesn't want us to know _____ yet, rather than "oops I forgot this". That's what I meant by coherent.
sburb was cool until the "dying" part i'd still play it if i had to, but really, i'd rather have HAIL LAUNCHER TO THE KING BABY without the world ending
Vriska admits all this would happen without her, so her whole goal is to poke every major event that happens and take credit for it? She's crazier than my grandma playing crazy taxi. If she doesn't die, then this comic will have officially trolled me... This is just a way of saving yourself.
Not really, the planet ending is caused by SBURB which happens 'cause the kids play the game which is partially 'cause the meteors are coming which is caused by the kids playing SBURB [editline]13th December 2010[/editline]
There's a striking absence of plot holes. Or that he writes all his plot down so that he can work out what bits need to be continued or finished off.
I don't why wwe're also so surprised how Andrew manages to make everything fit, he's writing the story so he has to.
He actually said that he doesn't write anything down, it's all in his head [editline]13th December 2010[/editline] We're all in his head [editline]13th December 2010[/editline] We're all his imagination [editline]13th December 2010[/editline] We're not in homestuck [editline]13th December 2010[/editline] We ARE Homestuck [editline]13th December 2010[/editline]
If Sburb is supposed to be a video game superimposed over the real world, I wonder if the players can quit playing.
Borf
Hell. Fucking. Yes.
Ahahaha this update is very silly :v:
Borf is now a sound [editline]13th December 2010[/editline] Wait, isn't that that dog dragon thing from that one film?
Borf is now a sound
Along with "dumb" [editline]13th December 2010[/editline]
Wait, isn't that that dog dragon thing from that one film?
Yes, from The Neverending Story
Yes, from The Neverending Story
Huh, I knew it looked familiar.
This beats all the flash updates ever. Yes, that includes [S] Descend
If she doesn't die, then this comic will have officially trolled me...
I think she'll go through worse things than death. Her pride will (or has) will force her over her own abilities, but I don't think she'll die. No, that's not fair. I forsee her plan falling apart around her, people she grows to like dying, her power and control slipping from her fingers. The guilt would be shattering. I dunno what comes after, whether Vriska would be redeemed by Andrew or simply left to rot in her own crushed dreams. I am pretty sure she's going to realize how horrible she's screwed up "the hard way" though.
This update is a humorous joke but is also the most hilarious thing ever. Best update ever
This calls for the return of Abdrew.
If Sburb is supposed to be a video game superimposed over the real world, I wonder if the players can quit playing.
It's called suicide.
