Yeah, doesn't look like there was a questbed there. Just ground. She just might have been lying.
Vriska is always lying -- why would this surprise anyone?
Maybe in a doomed timeline? Aren't dreamselves unaffected by splitting timelines?
Ha, that is future dave. I may be over thinking this, but he's going to stab that Dave, killing himself and it won't activate, dooming this current Dave, making him the doomed dave on the slab of rock eventually. Stable time loop still intact
"[S] Save the multiverse as a team, because shit just got real." Oh youtube.
Also, I wonder how the hell Vriska and only Vriska managed to pull it off, when she was actually dead even before?
I didn't think it was ever explicitly stated that she died after Aradia curbstomped her. Very well could have been beaten unconscious and had the real body killed off later on a quest bed, no? And it'd make great exposition and potential character development to mention later, which means great riffing on it immediately afterwards.

Perhaps Vriska bled to death after Tavros carried her to her quest bed or something. Is it wrong that I bought the Volume 5 album?
Update
Is it wrong that I bought the Volume 5 album?
Why would you even ask such a question
turntechGodhead41
Okay, I didn't think offshoot realities worked that way in Homestuck.
in my dream i am future dave its me
So is that how it works? Man, timelines are gonna be fucked. I guess that's how Aradia got all of those alternate timeline selves.
This is really damn wibbely wobbely timey wimey.
Well, since Dave 41's timeline cuts off, I guess that means that Dave followed through and killed the offshoot Dave. I wonder what exactly this will do for his dream self, and whether this fulfills the death requirement that offshoot clones have.

And since that timeline cuts off, I guess this is true.

When Dave kills the Felt-suited sleeping Dave, does this count as his death and can he continue to exist in the alpha timeline without fear of untimely demise because he already died?
[img_thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/03089.gif[/img_thumb] holy shit, daves, daves everywhere

I really think it could go either way at this point. On the one hand, it ruins the idea of sacrifice surrounding the whole god thing, but on the other hand, the kids have already broken the game so much.
Ok -- There's doomed Offshot Dave and Alpha-Dave, and Alpha-Dave has to kill DO Dave in order for him to ascend to the god tiers. What if by some fucked up mistake DO Dave ascends? At this point I wouldn't be surprised.

time travel is a pain in the ass to understand.
time travel is a pain in the ass to understand.
I'm just hoping this ends up like the intermission where you don't need to understand the time travel in depth to get the plot.
I really wish I could keep up with this. I did for the first few chapters or whatever, but I get distracted too easily. It is great, though.
Why would you even ask such a question
Not sure, but I don't regret buying it in the slightest. Going to listen to it now~ Fuck I went ahead and bought Volume 4 too.
What the [img_thumb]http://www.sinus.cz/~milan/coinc.png[/img_thumb] I cropped and set up this wallpaper just yesterday. Terezi is taunting me :ohdear:
Three people in chat? That's even more scary.
