TempleOS: Terry Calls Scary Man "Nigger" to His Face. - General

Damn, I remember seeing TempleOS before he started showing his face and stuff in videos and at first laughing at the absurdity until I realized how mentally ill he truly was, although creative as hell. This only makes me sadder.

Something fascinates me about people with mental illness- not the fact they're ill but the worlds they find themselves living in. Just look at TempleOS and his documentation. There'd be nothing like that from any typical programmer.

He began believing that he was being stalked by either the government or some mega corporation, and got obsessed by various conspiracy theories.[/QUOTE] This is actually my #1 fear in life (as super unlikely as it is) is to end up with something like that as a get older. I love my family and I work hard to provide for my wife and kids, I have a shitty but well compensating job that I excel at and it takes care of my family. I couldn't imagine the nightmare of slowly losing your mind, becoming increasingly paranoid, your thought process changes, you become delusional, you start hearing voices, your memory starts going as you slowly lose you mind without being full aware of it as your future and any hope of a normal life evaporates in front of you. I've thought about it and I would honestly tell my wife to put me in a mental institution, take the kids and move back to Japan. I love my family but I'm not interested in being a burden on my family or putting them through that, or worse, influencing my children with whatever crazy shit comes out of my mouth or verbally abusing my family.

Just recently found out that all the times my friend was doing incredibly clever racist jokes he used it as a baseline for his actual deeply-ingrained racism. Funny story: [sp]I found this out from his girlfriend. Turns out, they had a shitfit because apparently his girlfriend told him she is in no way racist and accepts all races no matter, and she is quite tolerant overall. You can ask why the fuck they talked about this and found this out about each other after more than a year together, but yeah. The saucy part? After he heard her out, he went into a tamper tantrum, threw his phone at the wall at full force (he didn't touch her) and smashed it to smithereenes, then broke down crying because she's not racist [/sp] :v:
