Hello, all.
After hearing USAokay's little song about me, it got me thinking about something that apparently Hezzy said awhile back where he basically implied that if I made a good explanation about why I should come back, he might. It took me a long time to respond because to be honest my mind's been elsewhere, trying to focus on getting a job and going to school. you know, growing. The song was a reminder. I decided to to take care of that little closure now.
In all honesty, I don't expect to actually be let back. Eh, I guess I'm okay with it. But at the very least, I'd like a bit of closure to this whole debacle. So, I decided to write this.
Let me first say, I regret what I posted at FP. It was, I agree now, unlikeable stuff.
I'm not mad about the song, in fact I'm kind of grateful. It was a moment of clarity for me. It reminded me that I've said stupid things in the past, and that I have a responsibility to face up to those things. This letter is that.
I admit I was a creepy sonuvabitch. I'm not going to excuse myself from that.
In that in the time since I was banned, I have been seeing a psychologist. I have been getting help. I did bring up this fact with the mods, who did not believe me, saying it was too convenient to suddenly bring it up right as I was being banned. Admittedly, he says I'm one of his more difficult subjects. But, progress is being made.
On top of that, my family and I attended a Conference about Autism last summer. It was very eye-opening. I realize what's going on with me, and I know what sort of things I need to avoid saying and/or doing, as well as what I should be doing to "normalize" myself.
It seems necessary that I mention what happened when I did try to return to FP, under the name "Sam Edge". I avoided trying to say the sorts of things that would have made me an object of ridicule, and focused instead on trying to just be a member of the community again. I was instead greeted with another ban not but a few hours later. The reason given was short, and to be honest was kind of rude. "Ryu-gi". That was the only reason given. I did nothing to provoke them that time, my reputation itself was considered an offense to them. It seems the impact I had on you guys was much more deeper and severe then I'd imagined. Given this example of FP's behavior, I don't expect that you guys will forgive me for the weird-ass things I said back there. And while I'd like for it, I think i can live without it.
I've moved on. I'm trying to improve myself and the way I act.
On the subject of my art and stories, I've removed the particular subject matter from my stories that I have no doubt FP knows me best for. I'm re-writing it, hopefully for the better. There's a few details here and there I'm keeping, but this you can be sure of:
The "elf rape" is gone. Done with. I'm not going in that direction with Selene anymore.
To conclude, I hope at the very least some of you will be mature about this. I'm sorry for what I said, and I'm working on getting better. That's pretty much all there is to it.

EDIT: It seems they got the message. That's good. I'm glad most of them, for the most part, were mature about it. I also want to point out: I don't see Susan Coffey in the way they have implied, and to be honest I was hurt pretty deeply when that one guy made a drawing that was supposed to be of me. The only thing I want is for her to be happy. I only want good things for her, that's all. I have not nor will I ever see Susan Coffey in a greedy, lustful way. That's not the way I see her.
