I'm disappointed you didn't put the harddrive in the second laptop and looked for something you could use for revenge. Passwords, embarrassing photos, browsing history or chatlogs. You could have had so much fun.

Umm OP you seem to be the one who started the shit in the first place. Being all paranoid thinking she's watching you through the curtains and then bringing your dad to their house trying to intimidate them. Maybe at the time she was just busy and she was going to give it to you the next day, and then you started shit talking her... You pretty much provoked her. And I hate people who always go "hurp my dads a lawyer/cop/detective/some form of law official", and try to show it off or use it to intimidate you. I wouldn't give a fuck what your dad is if I know what I am doing is in the clear (not in her case but yeah)

OP, here is a TL;DR lent laptop to bimbo friend, bimbo friend broke it. the bimbo didn't want to return it, so things got ugly. in the end called the cops and they returned it. no longer friends with bimbo. did I miss anything?

Why did you make footnotes? It made it so confusing. Like when you said that your dad told them that he was a lawyer, I had no idea that he was ACTUALLY a lawyer until I finished the entire story. You could have just put in the fact that he was a real lawyer somewhere in the story. Would have been nice.
