Much easier to keep track on profits if you don't smoke from your supply. And you might end up smoking up half the supply if you do it. Besides, what you are doing (from what I understand) is buying and then picking out a certain amount for smoking and using the rest for selling. I was talking about taking bits from the weed you're about to sell and smoke it. Doing this will probably make you lose track on how much weed you have left, you'll think "meh, I got plenty, taking a little bit won't hurt", do this a couple of times and in the end you'll end up with maybe half of your stack.

So I knew I had 4 grams to sell to earn 3 grams to smoke.

Sometimes when times are hard and shits dry, I can break even by selling .5g joints for $5. People dont really know what they weigh so I guess you could say Im ripping them off, but when Im the only person they have to buy pot from, they dont care. Plus I make enough to smoke half sell half, of a half, or more.

I right down (on my piece of paper) 120, that is 120 eighths. Anytime I take any, I write down the new number remaining, easy shit, for me.

Plus I always obsessively weigh my shit over and over again. When selling I usually know how much I have, and then when I pull some out I weigh it and then just subtract that from the total in my head.

it's never dry in the bay area.

Both are supplied by the same criminal gangs/individuals. If you want to deal either of them you'll have to get it from the same criminal network and that can get you into trouble. And if you don't make connections with criminal networks, in other words buy from people who grow/grow yourself you also run a risk of getting assaulted and possibly killed by criminal gangs who want to establish sales in your territories. Dealing all kinds of illegal drugs is a dangerous business.

it might be a sweeping generalisation, but people who buy weed are decidedly less aggressive than people who buy heroin, cocaine. i consider taking a knife out as a terrible idea, and a gun, though illegal in scotland, a worse idea. plus, as you outlined in your second point, you should only be dealing to people you trust. people i trust won't try to rob or assault me..

And getting assaulted/possibly killed by gangs is always a problem? If you have cash, you'll always have someone who hates you.

I dont blame them, those kids are crazy.

Funny how parents are willing to give their kids Adderall, which contains amphetamine, just like that. But when it comes to medical marijuana it's a big No.
