Holy glorious jew balls, thank you for informing me about this show, it's amasing...
Unfortunately I can only import the first season into my country
cant seem to find the plot online, can someone summarize for me?
I assume you are interested in perhaps watching it so here is small summarization with some blank spots to avoid ruining surprises
A group of people are fascinated by this graphic comic called Utopia which seems to somehow describe terrible events that have happened for real, at one point someone on the forum where they all meet from time to time has Part 2 from which only 1 is in existence.
Eventually a organization called The Network starts hunting them down in order to retrieve that part 2 (manuscript) because it contains something extremely important to them, eventually its like taking the pill in the matrix and they start to see how things really go on in the world and everyone they come in contact with either gets murdered or something terrible happens to their life because they would also get chased by the Network.
Oh and of course they are looking for Jessica Hyde.
I can promise you that it goes a whole crap load deeper then that and people betray each other one by one and even the viewer starts to question everyone as well as the characters, a reviewer said in his review "In Game of Thrones the show wants to shock its audience, Utopia is set to shock both the audience and the characters"
I thought the title read: "Zootopia - School Shooting scene"
I got really confused.
Someone needs to animate that.
Well, I just spent like, nearly 6 hours watching season 1. How the FUCK have I never heard of this show? That was absolutely incredible. I plan on pushing through season 2 later on today and probably ending up sad that it was cancelled. Seriously though, what a fucking ride that was, great writing even if some parts were predictable.
Glad to see this thread helped people discover this wonderful show :neat:
God the sound work on this show is satisfying.
Utopia was great, although I thought the pacing got a little screwy towards the end of season 1 I found it really enjoyable overall.
I just finished season 1 myself, that was fan fuckin tastic, so was the soundtrack. thanks facepunch.
I just started on Season 2 and holy fuck what a wild ride the first two episode are.
Shame Neil Maskell doesn't get into higher profile stuff, he's a solid actor and can work both ends of the terrifying/timid spectrum.
I didn't even know series 2 actually existed until recently, there was little to no marketing of the show so I'm not surprised it got cancelled. which is a shame because I rather liked it.
Where can I watch this?
Where can I watch this?
i found the entire first season on youtube.
Just watched episode 1.
This show taught me that when the yellow bag goes down get the fuck outta town!
:boxhide:
Finished season 2... Ohhhhhhhh my goooooood. It's a crime that this is cancelled. So how do we force Netflix to revive it? I need a conclusion to this.
If anyone else in this thread has yet to watch this stop what you're doing and start watching it now.
Yeah this show was fucking great. The cinematography is incredible, especially in season 2. Nothing else looks quite like it.

Season 2 had me on the edge of my seat through out it all, they greatly improved on all fronts (including pacing).

I binged both seasons after seeing this thread and honestly I think that his character was one of my favourites in the whole show.

The moment he stares at them with his eyes wide open and says [sp]"I made breakfast" always amuses me[/sp]

He's in Hyena which is pretty good.
I can't believe I started to feel bad for that [SP]psycho fuck Pietre[/SP].
Also, Becky's accent is so horrible , especially when I have no subtitles so I haven't understood a single thing she've said.

Just finished the whole thing and I've already started recommending it to friends.
Never really thought I'd find a new favourite show through a school shooting scene :v:.
Should've been more than 6 episodes per season (budget issues I know), because season 2 felt real fast so I had issues following the pace a couple of times.
The [SP]first episode of season 2[/SP] really got into my soul...
I went to Burger King the other day and the guy serving me legit looked like Terrence Truman

I miss Utopia...
