what I want to know is, what is Trump, a confirmed oompa loompa, doing outside Wonka's factory?
Breitbart obviously. Does anyone even go anywhere else for their daily intake of truth??
Please tell me you're trolling. If not, please tell me what municipal water supply you drink from, I need to report a crisis to Health Canada.

The tragic part of this joke is that in Roald Dahl's original story, the Oompa Loompas are black-skinned. When the time came to shoot the Gene Wilder movie adaptation, societal values had shifted such that it was seen as a little improper to depict simple-minded black midgets working in a greedy capitalist white man's candy factory under basically slave conditions, so they made the Oompa Loompas green and orange.
the breitbart part was probably a joke, with the multiple question marks.

Last year, I would've been confident in assuming that.

maybe it's because I'm new to arguing on the internet about politics, but it really feels like there's been a massive uprising of non-arguing. That Dibs guy is an extreme example of what happens in sensationalist headlines, except people get away with it because they're not dicks about it.

every time an election cycle happens people get extra polarized, which usually means people are more willing to dismiss eachother out of hand and make non-arguments. its also much easier to generalize when your arguing against "the other team who are all hypocrites", despite them being individuals with different opinions, colbert himself is doing it in the video(he calls out wikileaks), its not an easy trap to escape from.
its the curse of two party systems

how anyone sees ANY appeal in this shitshow of a subreddit is beyond me
The thing that bothers me most is that the only insult they use is cuck. Like come on, be creative! Why is that the only insult anyone can think of?

because the alt-right of the alt-right is fixated on sex and superiority. shit reads like a fanfiction sometimes.
I'm sure most of it is, but I don't understand why Reddit tries to censor that sub so much ... there has been proof of changing algorithms so none of their posts get on the frontpage no matter what.
They've been pretty heavy on the bots to force stuff to the front page before the algorithms changed. The first few pages of /r/all/rising were comprised of 95% The_Donald posts that had hundreds/thousands of upvotes and relatively few comments. Negative posts would be upvoted to 100~ before the mods came around to delete them as well. They're trying to curb abuse more than anything, which is the reason why stuff like HillaryForPrison or conspiracy don't get manipulated to the top anymore. the_donald still gets on /r/all once in a while though
/r/all is actually a decent place now

The last time they tried to invent a new slur they just replaced "nigger" and "kike" with "google" and "skype", respectively. I think it's in our best interests to let them rehash their memes.

and the "jeffrey dahmer" statue predates him by quite a long time. its the Arch of Hysteria
That site claims the piece is from 1993, Wikipedia says Dahmer was active between '78 and '91.
I think you're the one making the fake claims.
