does that duct tape and black apple sticker really look like an iPad to her? Props to the scammer
I honestly think she deserves to have lost $200 for that. If someone comes up to you offering to sell an $800 consumer electronic for only $200 then it's either:
a) Stolen
b) Too good to be true
I honestly don't get how anyone wouldn't suspect either of these things.
Honestly, I don't think most people would care it was stolen if they could get it for $200.
Is she wearing 3D glasses with the lenses popped out?
Yes. That is literally the kind of odd fashion people this is cool here in parts of the U.S. It's especially heavy here in California. Hell, at some clothing stores they sell sunglasses and fake glasses shaped like 3D glasses.
I like how the camera man was trying to be all artistic in that one shot looking at her face through the mirror's reflection "Oh maybe i'll get a promotion."
Why yes, you will be promoted because of a artistic camera shot!
"Get a job !"
Why even bother when you can scam the fuck out of steaming ignorants like this dumb bitch
Seriously, who buys something that seems way too good to be true, also she just buys it and walks away and doesn't check it? She doesn't ask the guy to open it and show her it running? The second the seller declines doing that, instant fake. She got what she deserved.
Dumb bitch.
What I'm wondering is why the fuck are ipads $800?
Maybe if her glasses had lenses she would have noticed
I knew people in Arlington we're dumb but christ...
I think the best part is that she has no problem with going on TV and explaining to the world how gullible she is

She's wearing 3D glasses...

Except that's actually a pretty damn good replica (however non-functioning). This was a fucking mirror with an Apple logo on it.
how dumb do you have to be
people selling $800 items for $200 for me is a huge red flag why would anyone be like "wow what a deal!!!!"
way to common sense
She probably wasn't thinking "oh man what a deal", she was thinking "oh man this guy's got expensive stolen stuff that he needs to get rid of, this is my lucky day"
Let's be honest, she even said that he said he had iPads and laptops and stuff, the guy just pulled up next to her, and then left in a hurry. Of course she thought he'd stolen the stuff and was trying to sell it off in a hurry. She essentially tried to buy stolen goods. I mean, what other reason would a guy have for driving around with iPads and laptops, selling them to strangers in their cars for a quarter of their normal price? I mean, other than to scam people, obviously.
Props to the scammer. Seriously.
If you can pull that off, good on ya. I don't feel sorry for her whatsoever.
if you're that stupid, and that actually works on you, well I have bad news.
YOU DESERVE NOT GETTING THE MONEY BACK
if a hobo is charming enough to scam me out of 200$ for a mirror he can keep the damn money because I sure as shit would have to have messed up bad :v:

I sure as hell would just tell people I had 200$ on me and lost it.
You'd have to be even more stupid to not be secretively embarrassed at how stupid you are.
I bet the scammer is doing jazz hands at his house right now.

I think you are giving her waaay too much credit. Just because you think rationally doesn't mean that everyone else does. Don't you watch fail compilations? If you do then you should understand by now that there are some people who just lack common sense completely.

Common sense is so rare that to call it "Common" would be silly
"Super hero sense" is more like it these days. And that's being very generous.
