Censored by NASA, the actual first picture by Curiosity on Mars:
CNN
Wow, even Fox gave it a better reception then that. What the hell CNN.
CNN
Sensationalist headlines. Dumb people: Har har, let's see this. Not needed and they agree! Tax payer money gone to waste! *click* Other people: What? They can't be serious. *click* (Bad examples, but you get the point)
CNN
Fox news probably reported that Curiosity is the product of Satan.
Why didn't CNN post was the F117 for example really worth the tens of billions of dollars it was spent on it? Or was the war in Afghanistan worth over 100 billion? I hate the US media. NASA gets budget cuts left and right, but the military keeps going strong spending billions on weapons >_> Like we don't have enough to wipe the whole planet clean. Stupid people.
It's okay, Curiosity, they don't really mean it

Would be kinda cool if they drove over to the skycrane to see how it handled crashing into mars. Who knows, perhaps the newly disturbed ground there might have some exploration potential.
Would be kinda cool if they drove over to the skycrane to see how it handled crashing into mars. They wanted to get the fuel as far away from where the science is happening as possible.

Doesn't the Air Conditioning for troops in Afghanistan cost more than the entire space program each year? I laugh at people who say its a waste of money; they truly don't understand the scope of how much money my country wastes on stupid shit each year.

god damn, and to think the last rover we sent is still driving on mars
god damn, and to think the last rover we sent is still driving on mars
Fuck all thinking about posting this one, I got this.
Fuck all thinking about posting this one, I got this.
poor souless rover. I am sad for it.
I spent like a good 5 minutes trying to figure out where the fuck I actually posted that because I thought the entire thing took place in LMAO Pics. Anyways, anyone know what kind of gear the Curiosity has? I mean, how exactly does it gather information?
I really hope Curiosity could somehow find the poor thing I know they're just 2 machines, but when you think about it, it'd be very emotional.
According to a picture in the Space Chat thread, it's closest to Spirit. I'm assuming that the distance involved is far too great for a visit though.
And it would be a waste of time to purposely drive a rover to an area that's already been explored by a different rover.
Curiosity is in a big crater though, she can't get out and find Spirit.
NO! SHE CAN, ALL SHE HAS TO DO IS BELIEVE IN HERSELF YOU CAN DO IT!
