The bus driver on the bus I get on is a constant asshole who tries his hardest to find reasons to yell at me. No thanks for him.
I dont thank my bussdriver. Im a student so I get to ride for free.
All the more reason to thank your bus driver, you freeloading arse!

Start saying thanks every time (without a sarcastic tone mind you) and I guarantee he'll stop being an ass.
My old school bus driver would bring us cider mill donuts every Friday morning, so yeah, I always said thank you or wished him a good day.
I always thank you, I do the same if someone opens the door for me, its just being polite.
I used to fart at my bus driver if he/she was being an ass to us.
I used to thank them, but eventually they started doing this whole, show up 30 minutes late, then make everyone wait about another 10 minutes while they smoke.
Also they keep going on strike.
No one thanks them anymore becuase they barely do their job.
Agreed. I remember when it only cost you a dollar to ride on the bus, and that was for both rides back and forth.
It costs me only a dollar in Massachusetts so I'm thankful for most of them for driving me to my destination for such a low price.
I don't think its necessary, but it is courteous
Bus is always, minimum 5 minutes late and can be 30-60 minutes late in the more extreme cases. Most of the drivers are pretty angry or at least in a pissy mood and often have no kindness in their heart (really, there was this driver that wouldn't let a guy on that waved at him and was right in front of the bus because "Now I've started driving, too late now", and well, the bus was driving out of the station and had to take a long slow swing, which really makes him into the biggest douche I've ever seen as there was no problem whatsoever in picking him up), they spend 10-20 minutes on changing drivers because they talk a bit to eachother, take a smoke and take all the time in the world to get stuff where it should be, hang their coat and whatnot and the guy that is supposed to change with him can usually take 5-10 minutes to even show up as he just waits inside and takes his sweet time in noticing and/or dressing up and whatnot.
And what's the price to drive to the next stop? Well that would be ~4-5 dollars. What's the price to the neighbour city? ~8 dollars.
But despite all that I still try to cheer them up with a nice hello and a nice "good bye" and "good weekend" if it is a friday or saturday. Or well, used to since I don't take the bus anymore as I don't need it since I'm done with school.
busdriver lets 2 people have sex,for that,i thank the bus driver for free porn.
Hmm. Whenever the bus is late (unreasonably so), I tend not to say anything to the driver. After all, yeah, their job sucks. But, it is their job, nonetheless.
Otherwise, I always say thank you as I get off the bus, or at least give them the generally acknowledged, "Thanks" wave if I get off the back way.
There's this one bus driver that goes to my stop though, who's always like 10 minutes late, and every time I look at him, he looks like, "derp".
