please die [editline]12th December 2011[/editline] i'm crying irl
Great counter argument, extremely well thought out and logical
How can bronies see people like this and then say "YEAH, I WANT TO BE ASSOCIATED WITH THAT GUY!"
Same could be said about pokemon, adventure time, the regular show, Spongebob was popular with people in the mid 20's back when it first started out. The show doesn't focus on aiming itself to young girls only Laruen Faust has made that clear in her history as a writer . Yes most of the show is aimed there but there is a great deal of humor older viewers can enjoy, that and the fact the the story or meanings are not watered down helps too.
Pokemon, Spongebob and Power Puff Girls were around when a lot of people were still children. Adventure Time and Regular Show are actually good, and aren't aimed specifically at anyone.
You've got to notice, It seems like that without MLP, that guy would still be fucking creepy and probably do it on some Anime or something [editline]12th December 2011[/editline]
How can bronies see people like this and then say "YEAH, I WANT TO BE ASSOCIATED WITH THAT GUY!"
Hence why so many people are "In the Closet" about it

MLP is literally a show for 8 year old little girls who like barbies and pink. I think anyone can clearly see how creepy it is that MLP has a larger and more outspoken fanbase than any other cartoon. This video was more awkward and painful to watch than the guy who filled a briefcase up with giant dildos and porno mags, and then proceeded to trip in public and fling its contents across the floor.
You know somones socially awkward when they use the word interwebs in a normal presentation.
That man is going to be bullied throughout his high school/college days.
Look at him, Like he already isnt?
This is almost too awkward to watch.

Yeah, too awkward for me to finish, had to stop two minutes in.

I can respect someone who likes a show. I hate people who are obsessed with a show and acts like an idiot and ruins something for the fans.
how it see it with the pony fandom bronies are the awkward fans who go overboard with the show (such as this guy) who make people cringe, usually man children who wear/do pony related stuff publicly and are hated by other pony fans ponies are the normal fans who just watch the show and discuss it from time to time on the forum discussions of it belongs to, and despise people on the top i have some friends who are pony's and none of them like or do the parts listed at the brony part. they just keep it to themselves and go on with their life
How can bronies see people like this and then say "YEAH, I WANT TO BE ASSOCIATED WITH THAT GUY!"
Every group has "those people" who make it look bad, hell look at anime in general

They are technically the biggest form of hipsters.
Pokemon, Spongebob and Power Puff Girls were around when a lot of people were still children.
So how are people older than 20? Most of the characters in the show don't share much more than a common good friend(they actually beat the crap out of each other sometimes), but learn to accept differences between them and manage to tolerate one another. Which is a pretty decent message to promote for all ages. It isn't huggy_feely_tea party_w/_makeover - The show, The problems the writers throw at the characters are handled well and they are actual problems that come up in friendships, Lying/Cheating/Stealing/Greed/etc all covered amazingly well, and with actual solutions no "Giggle rainbows make it better" The comics even address weed... which is kinda disturbing
My god it's even in an Australian school. He's going to cop soooo much shit. Sad to say that he even looks like a kid that doesn't really have any friends. Poor guy.
The one where the guy was doing it on the scientific impossibilities was better.
That one was actually good though, as it still applied to the topic at hand, and actually helped to make it pretty entertaining to watch. This guy is just going "join the herd lol ponies are awesome bronies are cool 20% cooler you should watch this too!"

Wow that was the most awkward thing I've seen all year. I couldn't believe he was going through each pony character and giving a synopsis and video example of it.
I feel like I can smell him through the screen.

And then they say they aren't furries. Lol.
I would've felt sooo awkward if I were in the class. I mean just SITTING in there would make me cringe.
it's never cool looking guys or cute girls it's always gross dudes
Id just like to say to everyone in this thread bashing on this guy and MLP i. Use to be like you no less then 3-4 days ago then i. Thought if i am going to bash on this show i should at least watch it too see how. Bad it really is so i watched the first episodes thought meh not as bad as i was thinking and before i knew it i had. Watched every ep from season 1 all the way up to the current episodes in season 2 and id like to consider myself a bronie. This show has the most friendly and open community iv ever seen sure it has its over obsessed fans. But that's what makes it so great that a show that at first was targeted for little girls grew into a show that people of all age groups enjoy. So what i am trying to say is at least watch a few episode's before you start bashing on it and the people who watch it for being awkward.
i did watch it it was cute but far too childish. i prefer woody allen comedies. hehhe see no ponies and it's still amazing
I watched it once, felt like I was babysitting without the kid.
