What I don't get is if[sp]Frieza can get so much stronger by training, why didn't he do it in the first place? He would of easily obliterated SSJ1 Goku into dust particles with a flick of his fingers back on Namek.[/sp]
Because he never planned of a legendary being that he fears emerging out of practically nowhere
Because he never planned of a legendary being that he fears emerging out of practically nowhere
Not to mention that Frieza had arrogance and self-grandeur that surpass even Vegeta's, thinking that someone even managing to scratch him was a personal offense punishable by death unless he happened to admire that person's strength (and he'd probably kill them anyway). He considered himself the most powerful and perfect being in the universe, why would he need to train with such natural strength?
why do they always get tiny grandmas to voice shonen protagonists
why do they always get tiny grandmas to voice shonen protagonists
In the case of Goku it's not so much getting a tiny grandma to voice your beefy hero as it is never replacing the tiny grandma for the little kid who eventually grew up into a beefy hero.
why do they always get tiny grandmas to voice shonen protagonists
yes we get it you watch sbfp
...So does that mean that Cell is one or two Rocky montages away from being the most powerful thing to have ever existed, since he has both Freiza's natural capabilities and the permanent boosts Saiyans can gain if they're pushed to their limits?
Dude should have just done pushups while waiting for the Cell Games to start.
I think most of the villains in DBZ share the big flaw of pride- had any of them actually trained to the best of their ability, they wouldn't have gotten their shit wrecked. Instead, however, they're perfectly content to stay "the strongest in the universe" through the least effort possible. Hell, the Cell Games were completely pointless for Cell to do yet he did so because he thought no one would ever measure up to his strength. Then on the flipside you have Goku, who always strives to become stronger than before, and of course pretty much wins every time.
Because he never planned of a legendary being that he fears emerging out of practically nowhere
So Frieza is naturally stronger than a god or atleast equal to one? [sp] We see what looks like Frieza beat goku, who absorbed the powers of SSG. [/sp]
Though it is weird Frieza being naturally that strong taking such a short amount of training to beat goku who's been training for years after his death.

Didn't Frieza destroy planet Vegeta because their Zenkai boosts were starting to worry him? If he was worried so much he should've had a contingency plan just in case. Instead Frieza insisted on having Vegeta as a trophy around to sort of "set an example"

[sp]Didn't Beerus send Freiza to destroy planet Vegeta? It's mentioned in Gods.[/sp]
Because he never planned of a legendary being that he fears emerging out of practically nowhere
That and hes a self important cock.
[sp]Didn't Beerus send Freiza to destroy planet Vegeta? It's mentioned in Gods.[/sp]
No, he asked if Frieza had done it yet because Beerus didn't care for the Saiyans.
I would love to know more about freiza's birth planet and his own entire race before he became a planet hunter like he was... I need more back story.
No, he asked if Frieza had done it yet because Beerus didn't care for the Saiyans.
Beerus was also surprised that Goku killed Frieza IIRC. Maybe Beerus is the one who brings Frieza back?

It's already been confirmed that Freiza is brought back by two henchman with the Dragon Balls

Two random mooks do on their own what Frieza and his entire intergalactic army couldn't do. If he's not grateful for the revival I bet he's killing them too.

Couple things about that, i guess. One, why would they bring the evil tyrant back instead of becoming evil tyrants themselves and two, wishes are usually only able to be done within the limits of the creators power, in this case would be either Dende or i think Moori for Namek, wouldn't bringing someone back and basically creating a god be outside of that range, d'you think?

Have any of the movies ever made sense?
In case anyone wanted to read the tie-in manga: http://kissmanga.com/Manga/Dragon-Ball-Z-Rebirth-of-F/1-Special-One-Shot-1-of-3?id=222382
Have any of the movies ever made sense?
Well this one and the one before had Akira Toriyama working on it IIRC
Beerus was also surprised that Goku killed Frieza IIRC. Maybe Beerus is the one who brings Frieza back?
So Frieza is the only one Beerus knew by name? Every other villain they fought is to be considered weaker than Frieza if that is the case.
Though that comic says that Frieza knew about Majin Buu.
It's already been confirmed that Freiza is brought back by two henchman with the Dragon Balls
spoilers ahead
[sp]In other world Frieza is trapped in some kind of cocoon hanging from a tree, he's still in his mecha frieza form and constantly has nightmares of Goku defeating him on Namek and when Trunks killed him. Gets brought back on earth but literally in pieces, Frieza's henchmen take a broom and sweep him up then put him in a machine that regenerates his entire body making him whole again. Frieza then trains for a mere FOUR months, then we see him kick Goku's ass in his golden form in the trailer.[/sp]
As I see it Frieza ain't taking no truce, he's going to be fully bloodlusted for Goku and his loved ones. With the fury of thousand suns.
What happen'd to vegeta's brother tarble? I thought he was cannon?
Yeah, he was only ever around for the one special. I think they mentioned him in the Battle of Z movie but he hasn't been seen since.
Tarble didn't give them a way to contact him so they can't reach him through any means right now. Besides, they'd have to be pretty desperate to ask for his help, his power level is much too low to be of any significant use like the other saiyans.

It'd be like expecting Yamcha to be useful
It'd be like expecting Yamcha to be useful
Shit, unborn Pan was more useful to them than any of the minor Z Fighters were.
I though they were going to cop out on an explanation for Freiza being any match for Goku & co at this point in the timeline. Glad they didn't.
I think it'd be neat if they found a way to make the other Z Fighters get some of the action, decreasing the dependancy on going super saiyan is a nice step, as well as having [sp]Vegeta become more powerful than Goku for a moment when Bulma gets hit.[/sp] It'd just be cool to have more moments like Tien stalling Cell, or Krillen actually being more than an explosive punching bag. I'm hopeful since we see Roshi help take out some of the trash soldiers.
Krillin could be amazing if they'd power him up. Shit, his Destructo Disk has scared the shit out of many an enemy far more powerful than him, he coulda killed Nappa outright if Vegeta had kept his mouth shut.

I'd like to see Roshi fight seriously again. Haven't seen it since The World's Strongest, and that was for no more than a minute.
