The iPad targets a niche market of apple consumers so I don't see any point in competition
If you want better for cheap you get a netbook
It's the sex.
i will buy this just to show my hate towards apple and its products
What great reasoning...
iPod was the iPad killer...
Oh, the irony.
This cannot kill the iPad, nor be a competitor to Apple.
Apple customers generally don't buy Apple products because said products are better than other similar devices. It's not about that.
It's about the big fat iProduct, the Apple logo, the shiny white plastic, and the fact that it's made by Apple.
This product is not made by Apple, thus it cannot appeal to Apple fans no matter how much better it is.
I went with an iPhone, even though I knew the Droid was probably better technically, for two reasons:
1) Those Droid ads are fucking annoying and
2) The iPhone, having a vastly higher profile, and having been marketed heavily to forward-thinking creative people and entrepreneurs, seemed likely to have a better selection of user-made apps and services that I would actually want to use.
It's the same reason people who think Linux is the best OS still run Windows PCs. I don't have any particular love for Apple.
I'd buy it if it was popular and had an SDK. That way many people'd make cool apps, which is where Apple wins... well, the people win.
Yeah I don't think I would get this just because it probably won't get really popular and there won't be very much support for it.

Phoning tech support made me hate it.
Us Indians have the least sexy accent in the world. That said, that looks like a damn good product.
Hey, at least I do a good job of disguising it.
