Commercial jets have very specific flight plans designed to minimize the chances of colliding with other aircraft while at the same time minimizing the time taken to reach their destination. Most of them are plotted on grids, which creates the perpendicular patterns you see.
I'd say GD is the best place for it.

Another thing. Aren't commercial jetliners not supposed to fly so close to military bases? The two flying perpendicular to the three I noticed on the 22nd were on a direct route towards 29 Palms MCAGCC.

I believe it's a matter of creating something where there is nothing.
Sometimes, different conditions produce different contrails which behave differently. There are many variables which contribute to altering the appearance and characteristics of the contrails.
Any coincidences in air traffic patterns should be observed as coincidences. If you'll look at time-lapse footage of air traffic patterns, you'll see that it has about the same regularity as surface traffic. I mean it looks crazy, but when you see it on the larger scale it makes more sense.

It seems like people perceive your insistence that the contrails you've observed are so markedly different as you going against what people are saying in the thread, but it's not that.
Yes it's perfectly understandable you've seen some contrails with unique qualities in certain circumstances, but it's not rational to jump to the conclusion that it's because of chemical distribution.
What we're saying here in so many words is that the data we have on contrails most likely does allow for and account for whatever you've observed.

Now this is the answers I'd like because not only are you trying to stay level headed, you're listening to both sides of the spectrum. And I know I probably should have named the thread differently to dismay people to believing that I'm some chemtrail believing nutter, but I also readily used the term because it would be clearly distinctive between normal contrails and the contrails I have noticed on the 22nd and on previous occasions, and because if one of these nutters were to see it they'd scream "CHEMTRAIL CHEMTRAIL DEAR GOD A CHEMTRAIL."
Airplanes have to fly in a certain pattern upon landing so they don't all crash into each other. One day I noticed a ton of low flying commercial airlines flying over my house, so I looked it up.

Find your city, and you'll find that the planes in the sky directly correlate with the planes on the map. However, they do change sometimes depending on work load at the airport.
Alright, let me be more level headed about it. There is no such thing as a "chemtrail". All they are is varying weather conditions. I see them last for an hour and a half and don't scream "CHEMTRAILS". Your thread title primes everyone to think that you are a conspiracy nutcase(not saying you are), so this is partially your fault. Also, if this really existed and had been going on for this long, why would you think that there is no reputable news sources reporting on it?

These were previous statements made before Swebonny pointing out the PDF from the Air Force. Everything till then made me think that something was being released from the back of planes as they flew by. I have been proven wrong through actual evidence provided to me, so through logic and reason I have altered my view on these, and the point of this thread has been achieved. I know why these contrails are formed now.
This is the first time I've seen a thread end this way in the Mass Debate sub-forum. Then again, I don't come here too often.
