im getting tired of these new games that are sequels cutting off the numbering. its sim city 5 you cunts, there was already a sim city damnit. Also, i wont be buying this if its origin only.
I dunno, this still looks like it could go either way to me I like that they're making information more visual etc, but I hope we still get graphs and charts, graphs and charts are awesome
False http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SimCity_(2013_PC_game) Its official name is Sim City, not Sim City 5
he was expressing his distaste at the game not having the corresponding number on the end, not saying that it was called 'simcity 5'
You know what would be an awesome disaster for this game to have? Zombies.
Oh god yes.
I've always hoped that the picture at 3:57 shows off that perhaps that traffic accidents will happen dynamically and randomly, and police and fire departments and such will have to respond to it like they should. Same would hopefully go for other disasters as well. Micro management like that I imagine would be really fun.
Still not convinced that this needed to be named as a "reboot," it could just as appropriately be called SimCity 5. Guess they're all about attracting that wide appeal with the promise of a different SimCity than the "convoluted" old ones, I guess.

They even have UFO attacks! Wow, what will they [del]come up with[/del] redo next! In all fairness, this new engine looks amazing, and if they use the technology correctly this will be a winner. Sadly I have this weird feeling that it'll turn out as one of those too good to be true games.
I feel sad that this game will require Origin.. :( If this game actually is as good as it looks (functionality wise) I will get it. (Even if on Origin)

They had better fucking support this game once it's out, SC4 was awesome but was buggy to the point of unplayability sometimes because it had zero support.
They had better fucking support this game once it's out, SC4 was awesome but was buggy to the point of unplayability sometimes because it had zero support.
The only thing that was buggy for me is the fact that if I played it for a looooooooong time, it would crash my whole computer.
