The rotting fish is meant to symbolize the same old policies McCain is trying to continue the usage of. Or you could read it all funny-like.
Lol, you do realize past politics have attempted most of Obama's plans before, right? I know what he meant, but it's ironic, at least to me.
It usually quickly becomes our business, either from politics felling they need to be the world police, as the sole superpower ( currently ), or through duties associated with different pacts and treaties ( see NATO and UN, and, of course, allies )
Buuut it's still better to not have people threaten our country because we've been imperialist dicks.
Buuut it's still better to not have people threaten our country because we've been imperialist dicks.
Too late for that ideal.
Lol, you do realize past politics have attempted most of Obama's plans before, right? I know what he meant, but it's ironic, at least to me.
Yeah, Clinton. And we all know the economy did horrible under him...
You can wrap a rotting fish in a paper called change, but it's still gonna stink

Heh... Whose slogan is "Change you can believe in"?
Did Obama say that? It's effectively saying that America is like a wet fish.
Too late for that ideal.
We can still improve our image, people will always hate our country but a vast amount less if we stop intruding.
I agree
Obama Wins. McCain huge fail.
I'm voting for John McCain because I heard that Obama is a Mussulman.
Ps Wow Racist.
Obama Wins. McCain huge fail.
Is that a prediction?
when will the results come in? sorry I'm canadian so i don't know any of this.
Is that a prediction?
I'm talking about advertising on air. McCain ads were more clear that we was attacking obama when it was really obama attacking McCain.
2am gmt.
The first two are very good reasons ;), the third, in my opinion, not so much. War is necessary to preserve our style of living, and lowering the military's funding, as Obama would do if he had his way, would be a very bad thing, just looking at the recent aggression by Russia and even more Middle-Eastern shit happening ( Hello, Pakistan, Syria, and Iran ). Also, since you are getting a tax break and the rich a tax hike, jobs will start to disappear, making it even harder on you.
I fail to see how rushing in to developing nations and stomping all over the place is "preserving our style of living." We rushed into Iraq because the bush administration fed us some bullshit about WMDs.
when will the results come in? sorry I'm canadian so i don't know any of this.
Tomorrow I Think I heard.
Caring for other people=Pathetic. Paying a lot of taxes has it's benefits. Stop being so selfish
I'm going to guess either you don't have a job, or your parents provide for you...
I fail to see how rushing in to developing nations and stomping all over the place is "preserving our style of living." We rushed into Iraq because the bush administration fed us some bullshit about WMDs.
True That. His campaign was focused on him being a common man. A Person you would hang out with and drink a beer. Go WISCONSIN!
I fail to see how rushing in to developing nations and stomping all over the place is "preserving our style of living." If 50 or more percent of a American don't Vote. Don't Fucking Bitch about high taxes you guys that voted for bush put him there. My Family voted Democrat every year when bush ran. Pints at McCain and says "That guy right there"
I got a robocall from McCain today, using that Biden gaffe to justify his foreign policy experience. He made me smile.
Holy fuck, the McCain/Palin campaign just started robocalling people saying "Fidel Castro announced that he supports Obama because he is more intelligent than McCain. Don't give Castro what he wants. There are only a few hours left to vote for McCain." It was originally thought to be an RNC robocall, but no, this is direct from their campaign. I mean, that's so fucking dirty and wrong. Why the fuck do people do stupid shit like that. Do they honestly think it's a good idea to trick people into thinking Obama is guilty by association due to the simple fact that Castro announced he likes him? I'm fucking disgusted in the McCain campaign. The ad is only in Spanish, and only in Florida, by the way, because they're trying to hook the Cubans in Florida. This is so fucking wrong and disgusting.

Does he do this for every Democratic nominee just to piss conservatives off?
Speaking of our upcoming election, if I get one more call from a someone asking the adults in this house to vote- I might be forced to break some face.
Ahh... I really hope Obama wins, the kids at my school are all for McCain, mainly because they're rich snobbish types... One of them said no one should vote for Obama because he's a Muslim N-word. :( Edit: If McCain dies in office, we're stuck with Palin... :geno:
Unfortunately he really did endorse him. At least he'll be dead in the next 4 years. Does he do this for every Democratic nominee just to piss conservatives off?
Who cares if he endorses him? That's not an issue. Castro has absolutely no connection to Obama. If Osama Bin Laden, Satan, and George Bush announced that they liked Obama, does that actually change anything about what Obama's about? I'm angry because this might actually influence a few idiots to vote for McCain over something that has absolutely nothing to do with either candidate. McCain's just out to win for the sake of winning, Obama's trying to win so he can (try to) get something done.
i'm going to bed now it's 00:02 and when i've slept i will hopefully wake up to a president with the name Barack Obama.
I don't think anyone will take Americans seriously anymore if Obama doesn't win these elections.
I'm for McCain all the way. Though I don't think he or Obama will do a good job in office, I still think he's the better choice. But I can't vote so it doesn't matter.
Americans will realise how awesome socialism can be under Obama.
Hell, it seems like the only thing the McCain campaign can possibly say about Obama is bullshit that somehow places him in guilt by association. The J. Wright shit, that one professor with whom Obama sat on a committee, the fact that a former dictator of a totally different country just happens to support him, etc. I am honestly scared that if he's willing to sink so low just to win, who knows where he would take the country if given the chance?
:siren: DO NOT FUCK THIS UP AMERICA :siren: I don't want to wake up tomorrow and see "ALL HAIL EMPEROR MCCAIN" on the headlines.
