Well, now on CNN it says: Obama 206 - McCain 89
Hell, I'm from Canada and I still care.
It's amazing that alot of people are concerned about this election around the world yet when a election happens in some other country, us americans don't really care.
Probably because if the US goes down, it can easily drag the rest of the world with it.
Hurrr bush totally raped america hururrr
He did a fine job until he accidentally the whole economy.
I live in New Zealand and I'm more interested in this election than our own.
Obama: 207, 21,231,317 Votes McCain: 135, 20,804,739 Votes Yea, America's electoral system is totally fucking fair.
It's amazing that alot of people are concerned about this election around the world yet when a election happens in some other country, us americans don't really care.
Because the fate of the world is basically depending on this election. If this guy gets elected in the imaginary island of Chaowagola, he's not really going to make a giant change in the world.
He did a fine job until he accidentally the whole economy.
Clinton and Carter fucked the economy up, not Bush. Still Bush is a retard.
No, by most of the words in his speeches, and the fact that he's a Republican. And white. And old. And rich. And agrees with Bush on many things. (Not being racist here, it's just the fact that the rich, white, old republicans seem to fuck everything up.)
So a poor, black, and young guy will save it?
It's amazing that alot of people are concerned about this election around the world yet when a election happens in some other country, us americans don't really care.
This is true. Normally I would not care about this at all. The difference this year is that who ever wins will make history.
Cool, Obama is winning.
It's amazing that alot of people are concerned about this election around the world yet when a election happens in some other country, us americans don't really care.
As a major player in world politics and economics, our president effects the rest of the world rather significantly. The same thing happened with Russia but for a shorter time since Medvedyev was guaranteed.
Hell, this election is more interesting than the Canadian one we had a while back. Fuck Stephen Harper, Obama is better!
It's amazing that alot of people are concerned about this election around the world yet when a election happens in some other country, us americans don't really care.
It's because America is a big influence on most the world. We could do anything from cure world hunger to start a nuclear holocaust. Elections, especially this one in particular, are important around the world. That and we're just very ignorant towards the rest of the world.
Obama: 207, 21,231,317 Votes McCain: 135, 20,804,739 Votes Yea, America's electoral system is totally fucking fair.
Why I hate it.
Clinton and Carter fucked the economy up, not Bush. Still Bush is a retard.
Bush didn't do much to help until it was far too late.
Why is the south voting for mccain?!
Why is the south voting for mccain?!
Expect incoming flaming in 3. 2. 1.
It's amazing that alot of people are concerned about this election around the world yet when a election happens in some other country, us americans don't really care.
Other countries have already had a President of another race or Gender. For more than 200 years, we've always had some old caucasian fellow.
Why is the south voting for mccain?!
Because since Reconstruction the deep south has been staunchly republican.
It's amazing that alot of people are concerned about this election around the world yet when a election happens in some other country, us americans don't really care.
Why would anyone really care about the election of a 3rd world country. Chances are it's not going to effect us or the rest of the world.
No, by most of the words in his speeches, and the fact that he's a Republican. And white. And old. And rich. And agrees with Bush on many things. (Not being racist here, it's just the fact that the rich, white, old republicans seem to fuck everything up.)
So he's instantly bad because he's white? Oh no we won't have change because he's white :( He's old? So? He has experience. History repeats itself. Rich? So? That doesn't mean anything Bush had good things to stand for. Being republican doesn't mean he is going to fuck things up.
Clinton and Carter fucked the economy up, not Bush. Still Bush is a retard.
Clinton: 6 billion dollar surplus. Bush: 11.3 trillion dollar debt And the original roots of your economy's fuck ups is courtesy of Regan.
So a poor, black, and young guy will save it?
He's not poor anymore, dude. I'm not saying he'll save it, I'm just saying McCain will fuck it in the ass.
My Dad, who is a Canadian scientist, likes Obama better. During that whole bear DNA thing my Dad commented that even though $3,000,000 dollars seemed a little bit over the top for spending anything at all, if the study was scientifically sound he saw no reason for its criticism. After all it's curiosity that moves us forward as a species. He also likes how Obama was trying to talk to the world in general, kind of like taking responsibility for the power he could be given if for President. I'm personally for Obama due to his economic policies, as my Dad gets paid in USD (he works for an international organization). This is probably the only election I've been giving a damn about because of that reason. If McCain's policies are anything like Bush's then it'll probably detriment my family because obviously it hasn't been working very well lately.
It's the south; what is there to understand. Most of the north-eastern states are Obama.
Clinton and Carter fucked the economy up, not Bush. Still Bush is a retard.
Didn't Clinton, kind of, you know, get rid of the national debt? Well, besides NAFTA and that stuff that eventually makes you right... :v:
Our president should represent the status quo, not the rich minority. McCain forgot how many houses he owned, Obama owns 1.
GG McCain :v:
