They probably have not got as high as an education as some higher class people and they have probably not taken as many risks
Wait, so we go off of assumptions now? Who the fuck said that worked?
Yeah because people from Jamaica are totally from Africa!
You do know how they got there...right?:cop: EDIT:  at the people thinking McCain is making a comeback. It's very well known McCain is going to win the south, what matters is stats like Ohio, Florida and Virgina that are unknown.
Have you figured that out all by yourself? Is the idea so complex and difficult to understand to you that you just had to explain it to us?
I pride myself on pointing out the obvious :D
McCain:142 Obama: 207 This is getting close.
i hope the black guy wins
No they didn't. Beaten!
Damn :(
I'm staying up for another 3 hours... Obama better win.
Yes, the rich do get richer. Why does everyone use that as an argument to tax them more? They worked just as hard, and probably harder then the middle class families.
How hard did Bill Gates work when he released Windows? He didn't. Someone else made Windows, and he bought it from them. He became rich without working. The rich should be taxed more, in fact, America should work like this: All citizens pay 10% of their annual salary as taxes. (I dunno if it should be higher, but that's how it works in Germany, and they do pretty well in their economy)
i hope the black guy wins
Fucking mods coming in here and ruining things.
If both my parents worked 90 hours a week that would be 180 hours a week, so lets stop derailing the thread.
My parents work 336 hours a week.
Um.. what do you call them? "African Americans"? :excited:
I don't want to call people black. What the fuck is your problem?
170 uh
My parents work 336 hours a week.
Mine work about 40 each. TRUTH FOR ONCE!
Wanna guess on what time the votes will determine the president? My parents work 7204 hours a week, So is it good to believe in polygamy?
my parents work a million hours a week.
My parents worked 160 hours a week. Beat THAT
My mom alone works 90 hours a week over two jobs, and she goes to school to better herself and become a registered nurse. Beaten.
My parents work 336 hours a week.
My parents work 1337 hours a week. Stop arguing and derailing the thread comparing this shit, this is about the new President of the United States of America.

I don't know how many times I should say this. IF THE CURRENT SYSTEM WORKED, IT WOULD BE WORKING, BUT IT'S NOT, WHAT'S THE OBVIOUS CONCLUSION?!
My dad grew up to a poor mother who just immigrated from Jamaica. His dad died when he was 3. My dad grew up, worked hard went to MIT and now is working as an engineer at a power supply company. My dad did it why can't these people?
This is what America was founded on, and what so few people seem to realize. Money comes from work, determination, and willpower. Congratulations to your dad for proving he has the strength to succeed, now it's your turn. :) I'm fairly displeased with the election results, I won't lie. I respect Obama, he's a good man. But as president he'll be leading me into battle, should that ever be necessary, and I have no confidence in him as a military leader. As president he'll be responsible for regulating the economy, and I find his methods for doing that ineffectual, and even Un-American. I worry for my basic freedoms under any Democratic leader, and the same goes for Obama. The extremist form of Liberalism is Socialism, and while Obama is far from a socialist, he (like most Democrats) entertains some socialist ideology. Obviously he's not going to turn us into Neo Russia, but under his rule America can expect to start seeing stricter laws. The Fairness Act, gun control, strong regulations on businesses, reinforced worker's unions. All these are things that we as Americans should not be surprised to see, and that's the price we as a country have paid for voting him into office. Our leaders will now have a direct say in our daily lives, and that is not what America was founded on. Obama is not a bad man, but I worry for my future under him. The president has the power to change our country forever. Here's to hoping that he does so in a positive manner.
I don't want to call people black. What the fuck is your problem?
In my opinion, calling someone african american is more politically incorrect then black since not all blacks are from Africa.
McCain:142 Obama: 207 This is getting close.
It is still pretty much impossible for McCain, though. He is racking up points because the mid-Americas are counting in, but when the further west gets in, Obama will clean up the rest of the votes.
My parents work 336 hours a week.
WUT?
My parents work around 98 hour weeks and we are only considered middle class. How is that fair? (Not combined).
Hrm, I just asked my parents and they said it was more around 90 hour weeks, but still I understand. We are upper middle class as of now, and still work hard to keep it that way.
Do you understand how hard the rich work to get where they are now? My parents started their own business 10 years ago and worked around a 60 hour work week, making barely anything. Now we are rich, and we deserve to be lazy, but we still work hard as fuck. (I work for my parent's company by the way.)
And? My dad works 60+ hours a week as a contract cleaning manager. Just because you work hard doesn't mean you get what you deserve.
They worked just as hard, and probably harder then the middle class families.
BULL TO THE FUCKING SHIT! Pull your head out of your ass and look around you.
C'mon, we need more results.
My dad was not lucky. He worked HARD why the fuck can't these lazy faggots get off their shit covered assholes and work hard in school and go to a good college like my father?
You are getting this all all all wrong
Bill Gates and Steve Jobs took many risks when they formed there companys, and it paid off. so to say he didn't work is just wrong
My point is, not everyone has the ability to work hard, instead, they get great ideas. Then, there are those who don't work hard and can't get any good ideas, but are rich anyway.
