Well I guess but still what does that part even have to do with gravity?
It means (I assume) that if you think optimistically and positively, you will be happier, than if you were to think pessimistically and negatively, you would be very depressed and upset with life. Thinking positively and optimistically could lead to a better future and attract more friends, as the latter would lead you to no friends and a short life.

Yeah but I really still don't see how that has anything to do with the laws of gravity. Does it mean if im happy I fly and if I'm sad I fall? Because that does not ad up since I should be I don't know I'm not thinking negative or positive.
Gravity means that matter (also photons but nvm) are attracted to other matter. Used in this context, it means positivity is attracted to positivity.

Oh now I get it but when I think positive bad things normally happen.
Being optimistic all the time can make you psychologically blind.
Being pessimistic all the time makes your life miserable and can degrade your mental health.
Being realistic, balancing the positive and the negative goes straight down the middle.
[editline]666[/editline]
tl;dr: Be bi-polar.
Why try to disprove the OP? He doesn't seem to be saying anything radical. He's simply saying that life becomes better because you choose to look at it in a positive light. But life does not actually become better or worse, you just choose the way to perceive it. It's generally in your favor to look at things in a good way.

In no way does that mean you should ignore things if they're not good, though.
Here's a rule of thumb I use to determine if a theory of mine is even remotely correct:
Has someone smarter then me said otherwise?
Yes
Okay have a lot of people smarter then me said otherwise?
Yes.
Oh. Okay. it's probably dumb as hell and I shouldn't make a thread about it.
[editline]04:33AM[/editline]
Besides, being a cynic (see, realist) is much more rational.

you can be optimistically positively rational
[editline]12:00[/editline]
OR rationally optimistically positive

You know, rationality doesn't have to mean only pessimism.
let's stop poking at the op's knowledge of physics guys, really
"There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle, the other is as though everything is a miracle!" -Albert Einstein
Positivity attracts positivity; this is a practical constant, I think.
Look through history, and you'll find some of the most influential people telling you the same thing in slightly different wordings. It is only logical to presume that negativity, then, also attracts negativity.
Don't think that I mean to portray this as some supernatural force, though. It makes sense on a practical and theoretical level; if you simply make negatives go away in life and appreciate positives more your experience will quickly become much more positive.
This tells us to not dwell on negatives, but at the same time do not let them run their course. If you are diagnosed with cancer, be happy you had it diagnosed before you died so you can take appropriate action. If your house burns down, be glad you had insurance. Extract positivity from all situations and and focus on it.
Most religions cover this same principal; in the Pauline Epistles and the Koran alike there is a quote to be found, depending on how reliable the translation is, about how your perception of happiness governs how happy you are.
Vague, as most religious texts are, but you get the point.
Does this make sense to any of you guys, or am I a crazy loon?
Dude, you're not crazy at all. It makes perfect sense actually. When there is a said positive person, who uses the positivitiy for their good, they attract more positive people and make negative people hate them. So, when the positive crowd hangs out, more positive things will happen. It's kind of in tune with morals and judgement of what you should and shouldn't do. In turn, most positive people can have fun sober than negative people. The negatives need a positive, but they don't find the right positive, instead, they find a positive that is actually negative. Anyways, I understand.
Negative thoughts lead to negative decisions, leading to negative situations and eventually effecting the emotions.

Oh look, a sociology/psychology/humanities major trying to sound smart by making up words such as "gravitronic" (or whatever the f*ck you just said). I haven't seen this before.
If theres an ounce of truth to the OP it's that if you act positive then people will like you more, and usually this leads to good things in life. There's not much else to it.
Positivity and negativity are for tools. Realism is the way to go IMHO. A life without delusions.
Opposites attract.

this doesnt have to do anything with the physical world
positive = nice, friendly
gravatic = approachable, draws in attention
stupid
